How about we introduce another ship gimmick?  The necromancer ship.  This ship raises the sunk ships and controls them like zombies.  The zombie ships are partially functional, but can cause damage and even sink other ships.  Move a zombie ship close to an enemy ship and explode them like a bomb.  Lots of new potentials with a necromancer ship type.

We already have the zombie "from the bottom of the ocean" camo for a few ships already like Bismarck, Hood, and Z-23.  Lets take it one step further.

Let's not and say we didn't.

 

First, there's the issue of control, a lot of players leave the battle after their ships sinks. Second, the game is an arcade, but based in realism. Restoring sunken ships is just over the edge. If there's one thing you need to be sure of it's when you kill someone they're staying dead. WG does fun wacky things in gamemodes, but Randoms need to stay somewhat realistic (somewhat).

Definitely interesting idea for something like the Halloween gamemode though.

Sure, it's arcade, but even arcade games don't typically mix themes....

we already have those, theyre called high tier RN BBs and cruisers, Nelson, and soon to be Yukon

Would be a cool idea for a halloween or April fools event.

How about adding repair ships that while they would lack fire power and armour could help repair teammates?

(Not saying they should get added just thought it was a interesting idea)

That’s really the only place I could see it working, especially for Halloween. As some sort of consumable that raises undead ships (not player ships though, but some sort of small ship bot swarm), potentially in a pvp mode but probably more ‘convincing’ in a pve mode.

Of course, that would also require WG to put effort into pve and ops...

Personally I would like a vampire mode where if I touch a friendly ship and later I die I then take over that ship.

  Maybe a future game mode. I think they are already set on what they want though.  Maybe it will inspire other ideas.  I thought it would nice to have a support ship that can repair another ship in its radius. Even as a consumable if we are limiting things.  I thought I have already seen this concept games modes already around halloween.

Totally agree, we already have Zombie planes.  Lets add more Zombies!!  This can be Zombie ships and my personal favorite Zombie torpedos.  

 

As much as Batman liked to use a Bat prefix on EVERYTHING, a Zombie prefix just makes EVERYTHING EPIC!!!!!

I'd definitely like to see a fleshed-out CoD zombie mode complete with buyable upgrades and waves, a step further than Sunray in the Darkness. Makes any game better.

Maybe we could have buyable minelaying ships for renewable traps for the zombie ships to funnel through.

How about Priest class ships from Age of Empires.   Little weaponless PT-ish botes that can wooololo and flip red ships green.

Don't encourage them. We already had vampire "ships" during the Key event. Just...don't.
