I've played this game since closed beta, I use game chat all the time, and I've never once been chat banned. I can't imagine why we've had different experiences. Go figure I get banned from time to time. Its not a problem. Club me often enough with bans it does not hurt anymore. I still reserve the right to exercise my freedom of speech in chat. Its unfortuante that the millenials have actually gotten old enough to be trained on what a Admin Ban server screen function is now and then. Such thin skins. From time to time I have admined online gamers and very carefully banned just the ones that required it while letting alot of the rest go on. IF they were online 20 years ago with the storm of trash talking, they would have been crying and butthurt so bad.... Nono YOU get banned from chat. Its not for "no reason" its because you behave poorly. For everyone else but those who abuse chat its is a perfectly fine and useful thing. I think wsg needs to SHOW you the evidence e.g screen shot of what you said, which caused the ban for the first place. would save me having to write this entire article. You basically lose nothing from turning chat off. Pretend your teammates are bots. It's not just thin skinned or pretentious people. Reporting to chat ban someone appears to be a mini game within the game. If you want social gaming play Squad. Chat is just a game of baiting others into replying with something you can report. Unless you can treat it like Sunday school. It is best to just not engage in banter. Save it for ranked when you may actually communicate with someone. A. You were using words that are flagged and you got auto banned by the system (since it's a 2 week ban, unlikely). B. It most likely must have been pretty egregious to get 2 weeks applied. It is possible to have in game banter while not getting banned as I'm proof of this.
