Spawn them 10 KM behind the enemy CV at the start of the match and watch those “players” run for their lives for 20 minutes.

In ranked and Randoms, if you are a parked CV, you will get sunk in two ways, a ship of red team finds you and sinks you or you are spotted early by opponent CV and sniped.

If you move immediately and keep moving, then you are alive

So I ask you this, if a CV has to move in PvP gameplay and has to stay with their team or get sunk from being spotted, then what is your issue?

Because unless you got bonked on the head and not played in the past 2 years, refused to play in same time, are trolling with this post and just want a player to explain it to you; then I have nothing else to say.

Because smart players move and never get spotted.

If you can't find the CV and you lost the match, then it's your team that lost and not one ship that beat your entire team.

Because I am sure that opposing CV never did any more than any other team player would and their team is what beat your team.

Teams beat teams.

But if you accuse a CV player of single handedly defeating your entire team and humiliating them to the point of tears; then post their dastardly deed here for all to see.

Why yes, showcase this CV player's war crime of torment and down right whoopin to your team so other players can tremble in fear of this monster of a CV player that needs to be locked up for the heinous crime of hard carry.

Post screenshots, replays, and promotional materials.

I am sure the CV player will appreciate your business

Otherwise, anything said about such crimes is just hearsay, right?

I proposed something like that almost a year ago. The easiest workaroud subs slow speed is having them spawn in their intended area of operations, the enemy's zone. It opens very interesting tactical choices for the team as, what should be DDs first focus, ASW or Cap?

Maybe everyone who hates CVs can drive one.

That way, the subs will be kept busy chasing the CV around in the backfield, and the rest of us won't have to deal with them.

I'd rather have CVs than subs any day. At least with a CV, you have some indication that you are about to be attacked.

When they need to, the maps are far too small for them to move much before they become detected which for a CV is game over. They don't have the alpha any more to kill an attacking ship fast enough to avoid heavy damage or death.

Right. Then why do they have the highest survival rate by a huge margin? :Smile_facepalm:

Because they stay undetected but not moving and keeping terrain between themselves and the enemy. Think about the last time you saw a CV under attack from guns and ship torpedoes and how long it lasted, not very long was it.

DD's will not chose ASW unless the DD comes across the sub accidentally or the sub is the last enemy. 

This is one of the problems of introducing subs. The primary threat to subs wont or cant be bothered.

with the current meta, CVs Subs better suited for capping, etc there's not much point in rushing forward as a DD so quickly. I wouldn't mind spending a couple minutes in a quick ASW sweep until the planes end their first rocket patrol, Radars are accounted for and the team moves up a bit. Securing the rear area would be important and would make for an interesting first consideration.

Sigh......

Because the smart one's stay undetected. If a CV is in a match and its team wins, 99% of the time the CV is still alive, this alone will count for a huge part of the survival difference. If a CV's team loses, occasionally (prehaps more frequently) the CV will survive because its moved to a corner (only the noobs do this) or the player is smart enough to watch the mini map and is or has moved to where the enemy isnt or cannot easily see to. Personally, I rarely survive a loss when in a CV but I guess thats the price I pay for moving with part of the fleet.

So many players cling to weak excuses for hating CV's without any comprehension as to why CV stats are so different.

CV's were once the top damage dealer at nearly every tier and so many haters kept bringing this up. They also complained about survival rate, among other things lol. Not a single one of the haters could wrap their heads around the fact that the longer a ship survives, the more damage it will do. Thus because of its longevity, the CV will obviously do more damage. Nor could the haters understand the concept of game 'garbage time', where the match is essentially over and a CV has the ability to pick off stragglers with damaged AA and no support where other ships would have to chase down the stragglers.
