You mean you qualified in this season for silver or in last season?

Season 2 just began.  Every new season, everyone starts over in bronze.

It never ceases to amaze how overrated and under used reading comprehension is these days.

The Game bends over backwards to show EVERYONE even in crayon and pretty images that the Ranked season STARTS in bronze. Thats today. The new season.

Is our public education that [edited] now?

I get what you are saying, but as someone who had to do basic tech support at a previous job I can assure you: this issue transcends age and social groups. Some people don't like to use their brains in certain situations, or simply don't care.

you can avoid wgc, and the website altogether and still play... so no wonder people don't know the details

Pretty sure you can't run the game without WGC anymore.

If only they'd use those announcement spams to tell people useful stuff instead of advertising Amazon Prime.

Makes me wonder how many could actually do basic math if you took away their phones or tablets.

I think it's just some people are so hapless.  They ask questions because it's the only thing their brain's or mouth's are setup to do. Me I feel like a moron if I have to ask a question of anyone.  I mean it's actually almost admitting you are dumber than them. (I think i just had a psychological breakthrough or admitted I am moderately insane.)

set to launch when my pc starts and then use modstation to launch the game, never have to see any news from WG outside the game again

What they really hate is unlocked cell phones. We bought one recently. Now we just lean on the carrier to mail us a SIM card.

No more contracted transfer fees or any of that [edited] and we can take the phone anywhere.

Most people go into a cell store and then buy that company cell phone and service contract then find out that they are a prisonor to same. If you wanted to take that phone to a different carrier, buy out the contract then get a sim card from the new carrier.

I agree, except that I can't afford anywhere near the previous phone I had on a contract.

The reason you have to buy out your contract is because there's a finance arrangement for your phone built in.

The terms for your phone are usually (up here in Baconland anyway) decent. You typically get a phone for about 75% of what it costs you to buy the same phone outright as a standalone. (the providers buy 2-3 year old phones at a bulk rate, and use them as loss leaders to get your business. When I had a contract, the provider I chose was the only one with a phone that had the features I wanted, and I didn't have $1200 to plunk down)
