So the 'gift' for linking accounts in twitch is really an anti-gift. I got it, but whether I got it or not, I still have to get it to proceed. I'm not complaining about free, but handing someone a handful of sand on a beach, while technically a 'gift,' is, well, nothing, really.

Looks like it. I used 800 tokens and received 955,000 credits since I already have the ship.

It's like doing some side work to make some extra money while you collect unemployment benefits, only to find that your benefits are reduced by the amount of money you earned....
