I am regrinding US heavy, at t9 this is perfect timing.

Only "perfect" if it is a ship you will be playing after you get to DM. My Buff rarely leaves port. I only put perm cammos on ships I will play again.  Of course I have an Alaska so why sail the Buff.

in the dockyard at 20 or so stages (pretty sure you can get it without paying, not entierly sure though) there is a t9 permenant premium christmas cammo available that you can apply to any 1 ship that is not a premium/special ship. there is also 2 additional t9 epoch cammo available from the 5 epochs campaign.

  • Cool 1

I assume its one of the ones earned as some campaign grind awards. I think I've got 2 since Christmas. Trying to remember the specific missions.

GX9900A remembered

Because I like Buffalo, and have no particular fondness for Alaska? (Which, despite its reputation, seems to generate mostly overpens.)

Either the 5 Epochs campaign/collection camos, or the t9 Winter one from the dockyard

As I inferred, if it is a ship YOU  like and will play on occasion after the grind, then it is a good plan for you to mount your perma cammo there. If it was just to get thru the grind faster, then it would not. Not everyone clicks with the same ships. Which is probably a good thing.

It has to be a t9.  If I am going to regrind I always pick what ever I have camo for.  I now have camo on every us cruiser and all but t7 of French.

The Cleveland/balty are my faves.  Not a big fan of the space camo.

I am the crazy one that likes the regrind.

You know you can mount that cammo but turn off the effects? Did that on my Fantasque as it seemed criminal to put the ugly steam-punk cammo on such a beautiful ship.

I managed to just get it using the grind. Thought I was going to fall short as the event was ending (and I didn't buy any stages)

I was referring to the OP...he didn't state the Buff...

Actually OP said he was mistaken & it was the CL line...the Seattle...why anybody would waste a perma camo on it I'm not sure but I guess he thinks it's a keeper.

If they or you are referring to those (Christmas lights?) camos, I haven’t actually given one to anything yet. (I have 3-4?)

Yeah, probably wouldn’t give one to Seattle though.

Upper right corner of your ship carousel there is a little gear symbol. Right click that and then check under special ships. YOu can turn off the visuals for specific cammo groups.
