I had a drop in this class a couple of years ago, but I already had three of the rare ships that I dropped. Of the 107 ships that a Santa crate can have he had to have had all of the ships not on the banned list so that every time he drew a ship it literally had to be a rare ship as there was nothing else to give him. Thats how it has worked for me; I got to the point he's at about two years ago. Last week I dropped the last ships on the list that I didnt have, Cheshire and Siliwangi. Then, if they didn't actually win them in the batch, they could actually just pay to get them restored. No doubt about it ... ... ignoring the particular ships, however ... getting 7 ships out of 20 containers is a much higher percentage than most of the drops I've seen. So there was a lot of luck in that. edit: p.s. I agree @John_Crace, other than a $1 to send a small to a friend (just to continue a tradition), I'm not buying a bunch of rigged crates.
