Missouri Nerfed?

Based on multiple examples of Missouri earing only 1.65 x base credits in Clan Brawls, (the exact same as every other T9 premium) is it not the case that one of two things must be true?

1. Either WG has deliberately nerfed Missouri's earning potential in clan brawls, or

2. WG has deliberately nerfed Missouri's earning potential globally.

Nope, its the mechanics of Clan Brawl.

REGARDLESS of the ship you are in, REGARDLESS of how much damage you get, you are win either 2500 base or 250 base exp. All rewards are determined on the BASE you receive, NOT the ship.

Either way, WG has, once again, deliberately stealth nerfed a premium ship, and made no mention of it anywhere. This is particularly egregious as WG is STILL selling the Santa loot crates, with the SAME misleading description, and many people are unknowingly spending money on rigged crates, in hopes of getting a Missouri, which has now been proven to have been secretly nerfed by WG.

Correct me if I am wrong, but your statement does not appear to be correct, because we see that t9 premiums earn more credits in clan brawls than t9 tech tree ships. With respect to Missouri, she was sold as having the highest credit multiplier in the game. However, in Clan Brawls, she is performing with only 1.65 multiplier, the same as every other tier 9 premium.

The amount of credits received for a loss is fixed at 150,000. Regular T9 premium credit multiplier is 1.65

Regular T9 premiums get 247,000 for a loss in Clan Brawls.

Missouri is supposed to have a 2.0 credit multiplier. So Missouri should get 300,000 for a loss in Clan Brawls.

BUT, Missouri only gets 165,000.

I think you are a bit premature in this statement. Do you have many of the tier 9 premium ships? Including Missouri?

I could do some testing I did not notice a change in credits last time I played Missouri it but I have not done a large sample size test. I do think the testing needs to be done in regular Randoms.

Having said that I think it extremely unlikely that WG stealth nerfed Missouri.

In point of fact, I have ALL of the T9 premium ships, except Siegfried.

I also have ALL of the other premium ships, with the exception of the recent steel ships and Arkansas beta, plus I think one or two low level Lima/Diane clones.

That said, I could still be wrong, which is why I am posting to get player input.

OK well same with me. Perhaps this weekend you and I should focus on Missouri and Musashi get 10 or so battles in each and see if we can find a difference. I think I have a bunch of screen shot results from both ships so if I can get some battles with very close results may see if there as been a change. I highly doubt it but we could see.

This would be a true dumpster fire if true. Also consider there are a lot of Missouri's out there so if true this would be reviled fairly quickly.

That will be awesome, I'll grab some screenshots of Alaska and Friesland in action. Do make sure to get the first page too, so we have a rough estimate of damage numbers, W/L, etc

I 'm up for that. It won't be possible to generate a dispositive result in regular battles, because you can't control the variables like you can in Clan Brawls with a fixed and known credit income, but we should at least be able to get a general idea.

How well do we understand the clan brawl economic mechanics? Also remember that the base credit modifier is not the only unique thing about perm ships. They also have built in reduced service costs.

Didn't someone made a post on reddit 2 days ago about it? He had the same idea, but later came to the result that he was wrong.

Some info is not published, but we can find out given the right circumstances.  If you earn 100k with tech tree in a battle, the corresponding tier premium will get 100k x number in the table, before premium time or other camo, signals modifiers.  When pre-released tech trees like Kansas are in Special ship category, they don't earn more, but do have less repair cost and ability to use any captain without penalty.  Same for T10 Special ships.

Playing a bunch of tier 9 premium Battle Ships right now in randoms. So far Missouri still seems magic.

Edit: whew it has been a long time lol.... Missouri is fairly well power creeped. lol

I could be mistaken, that's why I am asking for player input. It appears however that the premium ship multiplier IS being applied to the base credits earned. I posted an example above. This is not an issue in normal clan battles, because normal clan battles are tier 10, and all tier ten premiums are not actually premiums, but rather, "special" ships without the credit modifier. That is in part why this issue is in play now, because the new "Clan Brawls" season is tier 9, and tier 9 premiums DO have a credit multiplier: 1.65 for all tier 9 premiums, previously 2.0 for Missouri.

Strictly in terms of combat capability, Iowa is better.  Better Repair Party, better Rudder Shift.  The old USN tech tree BBs got a buff pass a long time ago.  The Premiums did not.

Missouri has Radar, sure, but it means going into knife fighting range to use it.  With the firepower found in high tier these days, that's a trap.

Yeah Missouri does miss having the new heal. She is slightly more tanky in the Bow and stern however which is nice.

Missouri has slightly thicker sections but nothing that changes anything important.

Never particularly liked MO, and your points here highlight why. Only time I take her out is if I need credits fast or for snowflake dusting. Compared to Iowa she seems stiff and the lack of a spotter really irritates me, yeah she got radar but as @HazeGrayUnderway points out that is of limited use these days.
