Scharnhorst for coal O.o

I have two questions, has the Scharnhorst, ever been on the game for coal, and any ships that have been for coal that has been removed has it ever been put back before for a limited time or at all once remove

2) No... but yes. - Jean Bart to Jean Bart B being sold directly at Black Friday.

Saying that the ships for coal that have stopped being sold for coal (and hence altogether) have tended to be the overpopular/overperforming (strange both go togeather...) tier 9 and 10 ships.

There seems to be a steadily increasing number of lower tier ships being added for coal, and ones I don't expect to go anywhere soon. 

Although cynically I'd say some of them are ones that have been somewhat power crept.

Scharnhorst has never been for coal or I would have snapped her up in an instant. As it was, she was 50% off in the 2018 Summer Sale and I couldn't refuse a deal like that.

1. As others have stated, no, and I would add since the Shiny Horse is one of their most popular premiums even now I wouldn't expect her to ever be made available for coal. Coal = unpopular and/or previously available for free event ships.

2. Black Bart, Flint and Nutellashima are the most recent examples of returned ships, K. Albert came back for the summer sale and a long, Long time ago Kamikaze R was grindable for the Clash of the Elements event if you put in 120+ hours (I think that was the estimate) over 3 weeks in a prelude to the PR disaster.

Scharnhorst is a good ship. A little one relatively speaking vs the bigger tier. But she if carefully handled can make a difference. You wont find her at coal. I bought her on sale years ago. She is good with Operations currently is where I use it to make resources harvested in Narai. However in coop she is marginal and in human games require care. If you charged in you are sunk. Its the way it is for anything. She is a good ship. In real life she caught herself a UK Carrier and sank same. Never mind the UK Carrier did not have any patrols up. She was blown up during a convoy strike in a formal set peice attack against the convoy ships themselves. The escorts of the UK got into her and boom no more battleship.

However. Wows does remove ships that many people use in battle, too popular, too strong and so on from time to time. For example the Thunderer is due to be removed all together for who knows how long. Now would be the time to get her so you have it. I have stated often that those ships are the reason for their existing in the first place. And now future players will have to pick from among lessor ships available in game. Ships that most people do not make a habit of playing. That can be fixed in a short time by making these hundred or more little ones pretty lethal. Strictly an opinion.

I am in the position of having two scharns. The original and the B as a result of the black friday. SO one can be on narai cool down while the other is used. Makes for less time consumed harvesting Operations income with other VII Ships.

I got the B last year in some scheme or other. Fun ship to play, fast loading guns heavy enough to punish cruisers, torps if the bad guy gets too close, fast but a slow turner. IIRC being uptiered is even worse than in other ships.

I see thank you for all the replies I just want to make sure  Scharnhorst is a good ship tends to catch fire easily in my opinion though
