805 [EPG] ObnoxiousPotato Members 605 posts 34,604 battles Report post #1 Posted December 8, 2020 Logged into the game this morning, and WG presented me with the opportunity to provide feedback via a survey. WG indicated it should take about 10 minutes to complete. First question (paraphrased): How likely are you to recommend WoWS to someone? (from 1 to 10?, where '1' is "not at all"). I answered using the '1' (not at all) checkbox, and the survey ended. Apparently, WG is not the least bit interested in why I won't recommend the game to anyone. 1 5

I've been hit up with about 4 or 5 of these. I answer "1" each time and the survey ends. Amusing.

1,126 [SAINT] Jolly_Rodgered [SAINT] Members 1,881 posts 21,610 battles Report post #7 Posted December 8, 2020 Based on my past surveys with WG I always give them a middle of the road answer to start which triggers more questions. The follow up questions will also have options for typing in longer answers, which is where you get to explain the issues the game is facing. I have no idea if anyone at WG actually reads the answers provided, but one can hope.

A couple of days ago I also was asked to fill out a survey focused on premium ships and the ways I got them. What struck me and was pretty unexpected was the following part of the survey however. Dunno what to make of it but highly irregular asking questions around gameplay knowledge.

Unlike what WG seems to think most players are; I’m not some tryhard who memorizes every detail of their peerless game(s) to the Nth degree.

If you are not going to recommend WOWS to someone, then you will not be helping them increase revenues by selling T10 CVs to new players. So no, they are not interested in your opinion.

The question is slightly confusing. Are we removing the perma camo on the premium ships? I ask because why should players know what kind of XP ships gain without the camo they come with. Have you ever played a premium ship without its camo (and not used another camo in its place)? I would assume the answer would be the T10s earn more XP, and 3 groups of T10 premiums probably earn the most, even with no camo.

They're not interested in what they're doing wrong, they don't actually care about fixing or improving the game. They're only interested in what people who are still enthused about the game think so they can tailor their promotional efforts around the things that players like about the game as it already is.
