The caustic attack dog nature of this forum is what it is... there is a group of people that make it their job to address posts  in the above fashion as often as possible... it is their turf,.. they own it... you come in here and ask questions or have concerns or complaints and they jump all over you... it's what they do...  I have addressed this with those in charge .. this mod team, the mod team before this one and the mod team before that one...  as I said the last time I tried to get this point across, I believe it is becasue WG wants it this way.   The other excuse is that "have you been on the Internet long, it is all like this"  as if that is a valid reason for any site to be caustic. Of course any controversial thread will be derailed quickly, and as such loses focus and makes most threads pointless after the first page. .. and again, I think this is the way WG likes it.

I've been on the net since 1989 and ran my own ISP for 9 years, moderated forums and mailing lists... resources like this are precisely what the owner makes them to be or allows them to develops into.

I wouldnt think asking for a replay would be toxic.

If anything with the stories OP brings to the forums it makes sense. Some of these, like the post that lead to this one could be serious bugs if true.

The last thread OP said she launched 4 torpedos, 3 hit the target one hit an ally, 4 torpedos from one 3 barraled torpedo tube.

I asked for a replay to actually see it, because if its true its a bug and it needs fixed.

I will grant you stat shaming is toxic most of the time, but when did asking for a replay of something become wrong? 

I can tell you about the time I detonated 4 ships in a row or when I got 10 citadels in a single salvo. You are more than welcome to question these claims so I gotta present you with proof. Nothing wrong with that.

You made an extraordinary claim that a triple-torp launcher fired four torpedoes, then got angry when people wanted to see the replay. Then you made the classic "If I hit teammates with my torps it was their fault" argument.

The forums are not a place for discussion, only a place for venting at this point.  Back in CBT days and for a couple years after the forums you could have real conversations.  Now, if you don't side with certain CCs and certain groups of awful players that speak loudly here you're just harassed into silence.

Its why I don't come here often, nor do I care who agrees with me or not.  The value in meeting people here are gone much less finding meaningful discussion.  Its an echo chamber, filled with players who try to tell players much better than themselves how they need to learn how to play.

I'm very happy for a few great friends I've had for 5 years now I met through these forums.  But that time of meeting individuals like that has long since expired.  The few I do I know are through discord or fellow players who recognize me in-game I get along with.

Of the 113 people who are on my contacts list, 5-6 still play regularly excluding Kraken/Kraken Below clanmates.  So, it tells me alot the direction the game has been heading, a good chunk of them purple (without CV, lol.) on my list are now gone.

I gladly physically documented that I was credited with a torpedo kill when battling in the Musashi and that another time I also "team-killed" a green bot plane with my AA. I commented that I knew that had to be incorrect as the Musashi never shoots down ANY planes....

I remember that bug! It didn't happen to my Musashi, but I definitely remember killing some ships with weapons that I either didn't have or didn't remember using to get the kill.

And the friendly plane kill one too, although that one never happened to me personally.

False. This is the thread that the OP himself is talking about in his initial post. He brought  it up, not me. For some reason, he didn't want to be explicitly clear about his earlier claims and why people were calling him out.

So many TK “it’s not my fault” horror story threads. People patiently asking for replays to see if your claims were true, and to offer help. Not once did you offer up proof of your lurid claims.

This is like all the losing streak complaint threads. People need to consider their own contributions to their own troubles. The common factor is you.

It’s you.

Realize this and grow (as a person, not just as a gamer) from it. Or run from responsibility.

The choice is yours.

I see no reference to a previous specific thread.  He is talking about the precise behavior you are exhibiting. His beef is that when he posts something, he gets attacked, just like you have done to me, and I will note that you also served to deflect away from the subject to bring up another thread, just like the previous post.... as I said to the other person ( or was it you)  bring it up in a PM or that other thread, but don;t derail this thread.
