NOW HEAR THIS, NOW HEAR THIS,

T’was a couple nights before mooring and all through the ship, not a contact was stirring not even a blip. When up on the main deck, there stirred such a clatter, I looked up and saw a jolly old man come down the ladder. Dressed in red with a long white beard so lively and quick, I knew in a moment he must be St. Nick.

Then suddenly from aft I heard another sound, I turned and faced it and saw a pile of coal on the ground. Behind the pile was a large green fella, singing so loud in a capella. I knew right away in a quick pinch, it was that angry, grumpy stingy ole grinch.

Come join Hapa_Clause and MareGrincho on December 23rd at 5pm Central time for some NA Holiday Community time! Who knows, maybe you’ll get a gift, or perhaps a pile of coal…..

On the official World of Warships Twitch Channel! December 23rd from 1700-2000 (5pm-8pm Central time)

www.twitch.tv/worldofwarships

Makes sure your WG account and Twitch accounts are linked to receive Twitch drops!

THAT IS ALL

MAHALO,

-Hapa

For curiosity sakes, did you create the warship rendition of this rhyme or were there fellow cohorts in that?

If you would believe in Hapa Claus, don't view this, because the old fat feller in the sleigh is not Hapa Claus.  (Well, certainly not before a few grogs and cookies scones left out by Royal Navy ships.)

It's very well written. I approve.

By Jack Lord's hair, Pele's fire 🔥, and 10 thousand Sakura 💮 petals, this is Good.

Can you do a Spam carving of Edward Scissorhands on the stream? (I hear X-Acto knife works best)

I think I'll get a bag of coal I'll gladly take this year.

Kind of reminds me of the New Years Eve Deck Watch entries back in the day.  Someone should do a call for FOIA requests for those and compile them.

I actually TRIED to write it like that....  I would do a longer post, but TBH, that used all my brain power to come up with :Smile_izmena:

T'was the night before Christmas and across the seven seas, many players were drinking as evidenced by offended trees.

Across Ocean map was the DDs all snug in their beds, dreaming of fat botes and plump CVs all red.

Over on Shattered are slumbered the Cruisers with care. Hoping for something to sneak up on, or shoot at, but quickly hide like a koala bear.

BBs are moored at their favorite ports of call. Hoping to get a chance to dance at the infamous Waifus Ball.

CVs are at the bar, sitting alone in the back. Wondering if they get new stuff or more setbacks?

All this goes on for most across the sea, but few notice what's above this night except a passing bee 🐝.

Across the sky in his SR-71.

St Nick flies cracking thunder and a few lightning bolts for fun.

He lands on the Midway at sea.  For a secret drop-off of goodies with glee.

It's all for WG employees and maybe a few wierd players to name a few.

Some have pets, and some have plants.

And some have ants in their pants.

For the WG folks, Spam, rare Pokemon, one lost Tuxedo Mask, and a few other gifts.

For the wierd players, the odd ship waifu or something useful like a Makarov. Some players got the more rare things from Nick. But only because they are nice. The naughty ones didn't get coal because that was all out so instead wood was given. Some got short or long wood depending on the weather, geographic region, time of day, market conditions, and not RNG. But most got good wood. Some got questionable wood. Others got wood that wouldn't be caught dead in Hollywood.

Let's just say some players are only cross because they wanted better wood.

Wouldn't you?

Holly would.

So is this stream definitely still happening, @Hapa_Fodder? I tuned in for the charity stream yesterday, but it wasn't happening for some reason.

We did publicly announce that the charity stream was postponed and that the Bobs and Friends were doing one this past weekend.

But yes, this stream is still on.
