Announcing the 2020 Turkey Shoot Bounty event!

How would you like a chance to help us challenge the community to try to sink you to earn some treats?

It’s Turkey season and Turkeys are running wild!

We are looking for 300 volunteers from the community (YOU) to help!

---

From Nov 27th-Nov29th Turkeys will be entering battles, announcing their presence with "It's Turkey Season! Sink me for a prize (TK DO NOT COUNT, REWARDS CAN ONLY BE RECEIVED ONCE PER BATTLE)" sink them in battle and you can receive the below rewards!

• 5 x of Fall Cornucopia Camo

                      

• 10x of the following signal flags:
  • 2x Papa Papa
  • 2x Zulu Hotel
  • 2x Zulu
  • 2x Equal Speed Charlie London
  • 2x India Bravo Terrathree
• 1 x The Community Turkey Shoot Flag

                     

Kills will be automatically logged and rewards distributed at the end of each game.

These volunteer turkeys will be sailing around in the specified tiers during the below times!

RULES FOR TURKEYS (PLEASE NOTE THE RULES IN BOLD ARE NEW):

Spoiler

1: Only attack in Random Battles! - This means no Co-Op, Training Room, Clan Battles, Ranked, etc.

2: Turkeys will announce themselves at the start of the battle with this statement:

"It's Turkey Season! Sink me for a prize (TK DO NOT COUNT, REWARDS CAN ONLY BE RECEIVED ONCE PER BATTLE)"

3: If there is multiple Turkeys in a game, the announcement is only required to be made once.

4: Turkeys can division with 1 other Turkey.

5: Turkeys will not play CVs.

6: Turkeys will not sync/countdown drop.

7: Turkeys will adhere to playing designated tiers at designated times. Playing the wrong ship during these times will result in a warning.

8: Games played outside the designated time will not contribute to the Average Game count.

9: Turkeys should only shoot at another Turkey if it is critical to winning the match.

10: This does not mean attacking them at the start as they are a perceived threat, look at your targets, IGNORE other Turkeys in battle if you can.

11: If it is possible for a teammate to kill the Turkeys, allow them to do so.

12: Applicants will have their game record checked for any serious infringements and frequency of activity before being selected for the event.

13: Turkeys found breaking any rules will be given one warning before being removed from the event. And will be disqualified for future events.

14: Regular rule breaks will be handled traditionally:

• If a teammate TKs a Turkey - report in-game
• Rude/inappropriate chatter - report in game / submit ticket

16: Concerns between Turkeys should be addressed within the Discord server to a WG Staff or Assistant Turkey

17: AT NO TIME, will you use any vulgarity or personal attacks in chat!

18: Discord is required to be a volunteer Turkey

• The Discord nickname on the Turkey Bounty Discord must be changed to your in-game name in the discord channel.

19: IF YOU ARE GOING TO VOLUNTEER ENSURE THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE AVAILABLE FROM THE 27TH-29TH OF NOV TO PLAY AT A MINIMUM 10 BATTLES ON THESE ACCOUNTS. Players that volunteer for a bounty event and do not participate at the minimum will be disqualified for future events.

It's simple, respond to this topic with "I would like to be a Turkey" and we will look at your accounts and check your activity and add you or not add you accordingly! Just come back on the 23rd and check the list below and you will see if you were selected or not!

Players that are selected to be Turkeys will be PM'd on the 24th with an invite code to the event discord. You must join that Discord by 1600 CST on the 27th.

Upon entering the Discord Channel you must do some things.

• Accept the Bounty Event Rules (react to the post)
• Go to #the-turkey-pen and post your IGN
• Change your nickname on that Discord server to your IGN
  • At this time your account credentials will be PM'd to you.
