Confusion on RB Resets

When the "prior" reset for the RB became available roughly two and a half months ago I reset a tech tree line. I was then planning on resetting again when the next 2X multiplier became available in the (approximate) middle of this month. This morning though I see that the 2X multiplier is "already" available, but there is still the notification that the "reset" will be available in 8 days. Is this notification in error or will the be "another" 2X reset in 8 days? (Thanks)

Meaning, if one started (clicked on Reset) one reset they would get x2.

In the next 8 days, the 2x bonus is available?

Correct, If you have already started/used (1) 2x reset, wait 8 days and you will get a 2nd  2x reset.
