Summary:  it started in the Halloween thing, then happened in randoms.  I posted a replay - everyone said they couldn't see anything, I'm not smart enough to figure out how to make the cruddy replay system work the way I want it to, it went away for 5 days, now its back, I have screenshots.

The BB is invisible.  I'm facing W, map says I'm SE.  Ship line ups are not consolidating the dead.

Smoke timer not counted down since last slide slide (10 seconds ago), smoke cool-down timer not counting down, BB still invis, speed (this is a screen shot, not a replay) stuck at 8.6 (more later).  Map still off, line-up still off.

These torps are not moving, no trails.  They just sit there.  All other faults still exist.  The mini-map will only update throughout if someone else spots something.  Periodically my ship will shoot a single round without a gun bloom at nothing.

I'm at the E1... where's this CA?

CA shooting, where's the ship?

I out detect the Skane, I haven't fired, there is no smoke, he's not rendering for me, nor is incoming damage being recorded or displayed.  No missed shots, no rounds in the air, no effects on my ship.  Every one of these ships are invisible.  Torpedo tubes are locked at 90 degrees.  Some displays are now "corrected".  I'm at full speed doing NEGATIVE 161.9 knots?!?  I get an audio of me shooting, no visual effects, no gun bloom either.  My FOV is on the mini map again (D1).  Friendly ships are not displaying on screen or moving on the mini map.

These two are me trying to shoot, look around - everything is still jacked.

Ghost ship?

I died about 5 seconds later, with no recorded damage.  I've updated everything, I've done a check and repair.  So ticket?  Thanks ahead.

Ahoy @Hyperion728!

Yes, create a WGcheck report and submit it with your Support ticket.

The newest graphics drivers usually don't have anything for older games and can include things that cause problems for those older games. Try rolling back to a previous driver which will be available on your GPU's site.

Got a reply in 7 minutes.  If anyone else is having this problem, here's what's up.

Hello Hyperion728‍,
Thank you for contacting Wargaming Player Support.

We investigated this problem. It occurs when using low-frequency processors with an integrated graphics core that meets the minimum requirements or below them.
Problems begin due to a lack of processor power and built-in video core, and, as a result, ship models disappear, and other problems arise.

At the moment we can advise you of the following ways of improving the situation:

close other applications in the background;
reduce water quality to «very low» in graphics settings;
turn on full-screen mode and reduce screen resolution;
set the graphics quality to «very low.»

You can perform these actions one at a time, from top to bottom, to check if the issue is gone.

We're working to fix this problem, but it may take much time.

What's a "low-frequency processor"?  I've been playing on this thing for 2 years with the same settings with no problems.

Howdy folks,

Yes, I had the same issue in a game earlier today in my Aigle. Everything started off fine, but after about 3 minutes, everything went out the window. Exactly the same things as what you said happened. Unfortunately, I didn't set any backwards speed records, so I feel vaguely cheated (I cruised around the map at a dizzying -0.3 knots). I was so messed up afterwards, I had to log out of the game. Had a good laugh afterwards, though. Guess I'll submit a ticket too.

Onwards and seawards,

Grand_Admiral_Murrel

You say it just started w/the Halloween mode? Was the Halloween mode the 1st thing you did since the update? (IOW...was this update running fine before you tried the Halloween thing or has it been like that since the update & the Halloween thing was the 1st thing you tried since the start of the update.

Did you do the Public Test Server? If so did anything happen like that during the PTS? Or more specifically...did you run the Halloween mode on PTS w/out issues?

It may just be that as of this update your processor reached it's limit to where before this update it was a "high enough frequency processor" & this updates additions were enough to drop it down to a "low frequency processor".

Not a techie though personally so take my "hypothesis" as 1 based on no actual concept of what might be actually happening :-)

Was mainly just trying to clarify if it was an issue that might have started w/the update or if it was working since the update & you entered the Halloween mode sometime after the update.

Here's the problem: you're not in what we call "a sandbox environment".

A sandbox is set aside, does its own thing, doesn't have to connect to anything. Say... a graphing calculator, for example, a TI-85. It will do the same job it's always done until it breaks or you can no longer find batteries for it... you get the idea.

World of warships, on the other hand, isn't a sandbox. graphics get updated, improved, require more system resources. Technology marches on, and unless you keep up, you will get left behind. The graphics you're trying to run are too much for your system, is what that report is saying. Okay, that wasn't the case two weeks ago. So the latest update was "the straw that broke the camel's back". Doesn't mean there's something wrong with the game, you either need to tone down the graphics, or upgrade the computer. After a certain point you won't be able to tone the graphics down enough, and you will have to upgrade to keep playing.
