I think that Graphics is an ever evolving pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow situation... As long as you're happy with the changes/improvement OP... Who cares what I think...

My MSI laptop has a 4gb nVidia 1050 graphics, with a default Intel GPU for desktop stuff. It does pretty good. NVidia driver updates occur often. Nice thing is you can run their "app", look at your games, tell the app to optimize the card and you are good to go.

my old card is a 9800gt not a 1050 bro.  its 422% increase and DX11 support now.

The 1050 is the minimum card for medium settings ...   I never mentioned it was your card.

GTX 950 2gb GDDR5 on a PCI-E 2.0 slot (3.0 is default but 2.0 is backwards compatible.)

I am on all medium settings now at about 60 fps, as opposed to EVERYTHING LOW and like 30-40 FPS...

In new york harbor on medium (always had to use blank ocean on low)

 

here is how my game used to look and at 30-40 fps (also first time shooting at a YAMAMOTO...he hurt when he shot back, lol.)

Thanks!! YEP I can fly aircraft carriers again but I kind of like battleship and cruiser better now that I was forced to get them to higher tiers as opposed to my CV, lol.

With these settings, your a solid Medium graphics level easy... (dont push it any higher).

I do have a concern about the 6GB ram being to low in the near future... If you're able to upgrade the ram (8GB minimum or higher if your MB can handle it)... You'll have a decent WOWS gaming PC for at least 2 years... Maybe...

Yeah I know it would fix it I just didn't have the option at the time mate.  Still is silly that everything else works fine on a DX10 card but CV aiming reticule, but anyways, I digress.

Yep I can play all Medium but I went back to lower settings with High effects and getting good FPS and she still looks great!

Im still running three MSI 680s in 4gb the original from like 15 years ago.

It will be time to upgrade them at some point. If I do, cooling will be a increase when we come out of winter next year. Game runs on high at 85 or so frames .

Core 2 Quad @3.6ghz (over clocked)

8GB DDR2

GTX750ti

SSD

The main reason I kept playing WoWS or on gaming (when time was available), was the "low" requirements this game offers.  I couldn't deal with lag or low FPS in other titles.

My settings are mostly none, to low, to mid on some...

GTX 680 is from 2012. 8 years ago, not 15. Still a decent enough GPU, though.

I'd care if you hadn't come in being such an obnoxious [edited] about it in your previous threads. Now it just means we've got one more mouthy, entitled [edited] to deal with in game... and one that drives a CV. Great.

And its gg, my computer's psu + mobo died 2 days later so I can't even play anymore so be happy.

Anyone know of any good deals on optiplexs around? Going to get a 750ti I think and an office computer, better than my phenom setup anyways.

I was playing fine on an AMD Phenom 9550 quad core, 6gb ddr2 and a gtx 950.

I can get a decent i5 with 8gb of ram for about $100, used 750ti for about $60.  thats only $160 mate but yes its a budget gaming PC but still would run mostly everything I needed it too, I dont care about gfx settings just FPS

What I recommended, Gives you Medium settings easy.

Its a long term solution not short term... From your suggestion,

• up the RAM to 16GB...
• If you can get a better GPU card for cheap go for it...

GO with what ever is available in your area.. HOWEVER, dont settle for less only if, its the only option available to you.
