I enjoy it, just seem to have a hard time positively affecting outcomes with it. It capitalizes well on battles the team is winning anyway, but it can’t turn around battles tgat start going negative.

I expect better accuracy from a tier 8 battleship, and the reload sucks.  My damage output is sporadic, due to dispersion and overpens.  Her slow speed can be mitigated by her long range, and with proper minimap interpretation.

I find Kansas to be solidly, "meh".

Felt exactly the same.

My only issue with Kansas is her gunnery is just a tad inconsistent.
My first 3 games went very well and she hit like a truck with the 12 16" guns.
Next three, the shells wouldnt pen, or everything was angled and I just got ricochets.

I’m enjoying Kansas as well, I don’t mind the speed I enjoy playing the standards, and the reload is surprisingly tolerable. The dispersion is infuriating at times but I’ve also gotten nice salvos on cruisers at 20+ km so it’s not always horrible, I find it meh most of the time. I tend to enjoy the odd and not always “good” ships tho so that might also be part of it

I like the Florida that everyone was criticizing so yeah, I get it. Kansas seems ok but against HE spammers and secondary ships she just melts her fat away, along with her hit points. If people like playing it then I say more power to them.

Still in early access. You can earn Kansas for free, I think Minnesota too but that takes a lot more work. Next patch they should be out for everyone though.

Just puts more emphasis on target selection and waiting for the opportunity.

Anecdotally: it feels like I can do more with Kansas than with North Carolina. But that's just the feel of it after maybe 7 or 8 battles in Kansas, and not based on numbers - also very low sample size.

I haven't figured out how to play Kansas - yet. But that's been true of many, many other ships when I first acquired them.

There are a few I still can't get a handle on (Skane).

Time will which category Kansas falls into.

Yeah, which why the lack of accuracy hurts that much. You take a while to get into position, you wait for a good target because you probably only get one shot with 40sec reload, and when everything is lined up you shoot and get.....2 overpens because the dispersion pattern is the size of a map grid.

It just seems that Kansas gives up FAR too much (speed, accuracy, reload, shell performance) for an extra turret compared to NC or an extra 2 guns compared to Amagi.

Not saying you're wrong. There are a few things I wouldn't mind changed, like heavier shells, some tighter sigma. I'm not arguing here that she's a good ship - just that I've been able to make her work, for now.

This, if he is able to make it work for him and he is enjoying himself why not play it. I can't say much because when I still played WoT my most played tank was the M3 Lee.

This is true! Pensacola and New Orleans for me, prefer them even to the Baltimore. Enjoying ships can often lead to overlooking faults though.

She’s painful IMO. Played two random matches in her today, both losses despite games with 90K+ damage and second place finishes (XP). 

Give me 25 knots and Mass secondaries and that would help. Other than that, I’ll do the grind but then she’s a port queen. 

I even decided not to get her permanent camouflage (ugly gold thing) and went with 80 shark/eagle camo that I will use. 

Can’t understand why WGing would put this POS in the game.  What’s next...subs?
