I don't have friends interested in warship game, they like fantasy world or anime world more.

Same here - the few friends that admit to playing games prefer games like Fallout and Baldur's Gate (new Ver 3 looks incredible!), and with the recent grinds, I am playing less and less.  It's still enjoyable (most of the time), but it's a game I recommend with some caveats to anyone that expresses interest.

Waste of time doing this . I’m 55 so there’s no way my friends will

want to try this . I started playing this with 4 other friends back in 2017 and none of then played longer than 3 months because they felt it was a game not worth playing . And they went back to there playstations and Xbox’s because they thought the games were better than this . 
Does WG keep pushing this on us because there loosing players .

have to remember there are a lot of ex servicemen that play this or wot or wowarplanes .

Wargaming needs to understand that grind gaming is falling out of favor with a lot of the gaming community unless there is new content that makes it worthwhile.

There has not been any new maps in ages, the only new battle mode are submarine battles and those are not popular with the majority of players and the majority of ships they have released have been premium ships which require you to buy them and require you to pay to convert any xp earned with them to usable xp.

Basically what it comes down to is that people do not want to pay money to play a grind fest with almost no new content combined with a constant financial drain.

Also if you want to stop losing players stop doing things like take the shipbuilding event where you are required to purchase two phases at 1750 doubloons each and change it to where you are required to purchase four phases at 1950 doubloons each so the cost went from 3500 to 7800 doubloons.

Wargaming you pull stuff like this then wonder why people no longer want to play your game then you hold several recruitment events that do practically nothing for boosting the player base numbers.

we also lost a few operations  that were better than the ones  they left behind . also we have had  no new operations added  to the  senario game mode  for a couple of years now  

THIS IS WHAT THEY SHOULD BE WORKING ON  > NOT COLABORATING  WITH TOY MANUFACTURES 

players are getting bored playing the same senerios over and over again

how long is it taking to get the 500 recruitment points and dubloons ? My recruit completed the tier 5 battle as per rules on the website. I have received no reward.

i take it that the 5 codes  we got in an email is  part of the recruitment  . the codes are kind of usless if every  player got the same email with codes  .what we suppose to do with the other 4  if everyone already got codes

yupp they probbly dont read them   . just like if you put a ticket  in player support  and get an automated reply back that doesnt actually answer  your question .

Try to send tickets for x5 times and if they answer you get a t8 premium ship?!

I'm pretty sure none of my friends would appreciate the grind, the double CVs, and the Tier 5 skill-wall if they were even remotely interested in naval history.

So far I convinced my GF and one other to sign up and play, in part because I had the pitch of "you only need to get from Tier 3 to Tier 5 with this code and it'll help me out." I think I have one of them motivated to get to the free Warspite, but I don't know how many more people I'm going to cajole into this if I'm not going to see the bonus rewards.

Sorry, but I have tried to convince many of my gaming friends to try WoT, WoWs, and/or WoWp.

They are interested until they notice certain things.

In Wot, they notice artillery (SPGs) is useless.

this is important because they are tankers and artillery specialists from the schools in Fort Hood.

Some of them are INSTRUCTORS!!!

They tell me there is no f***ing way a tank (with its cramped turret) can reload quicker than an open-topped SPG... much less 2 or 3 shots in the time an SPG reloads one shot.

One of the instructors says the direct-fire function for SPGs is WAYYYY out of whack.

He says a long ranged arty (105mm, 155mm, 203mm, ECT) is INHERENTLY accurate in direct-fire.

he gives examples of hitting (with first rounds) 2x2 ft sniper holes with 8 inch howitzers from 3k (3,000 yards) during the korean conflict.

He says such shooting was the norm... not the exception.

 

With WoWp, the aviators say it is just too difficult to control the aircraft... even with a Joystick.

The 3D sensation(s) are just not right.

 

In WoWs, they have seen how WG does not adhere to whatever the players/testers report.

They also see how WG had promised MULTIPLE times to not introduce subs, but broke that promise (and still trying to get subs in game)

They also noted that NOTHING is done without using doubloons.

If you want to expand your dock... spend doubloons.

If you want to get rid of a ship you're done with... you can't unless you first use doubloons to demount systems.

If you want more slots in your reserve... spend doubloons.

Since doubloons are bought ONLY with Real $$$, it is seen as a hand in the wallet... a drain of funds.

what WoWs needs is a means to do things without spending real life money.

 

they also are hesitant to play ANYTHING with such a strong pro-soviet bias.

Their main basis for this declaration is the maximum viewing range in Wot is well within effective targeting range for soviet optics, when (especially during WW2) german optics allowed them to engage soviet vehicles at twelve to fifteen hundred yards regularly.

I tried to tell them WG can't extend the viewing range, but they pointed out how the background draws to well in excess of 1500 yards in even the 'busiest' maps.

Interesting so many tags, so few as of now responses. Well some of us have been tagging other subject matter for a number of weeks and have yet to receive a response. So it might take a little bit of time before you receive a response?
