10 [TWWB] scoots76 Members 103 posts Report post #6 Posted October 20, 2020 (edited) A connection issue may very well exist between you and the server, or your router maybe dropping packets (did you try restarting the router?). I was having a problem like this recently, my router and cable modem were not the problem. Ping and tracert commands would work just fine. What it turned out to be something related to a reverse filter. After my ISP did a line diagnostic they replaced the part and the issue(s) went away. It might be worth having the ISP come check things out anyways. Edited October 20, 2020 by scoots76

For those of you having problems, you might have to use a VPN to bypass those god awful LAN. As far as WOWS is concern, server is up and running. No issues from those currently playing in the server. 4 [FFG16] Draperk148 Members 36 posts Report post #15 Posted October 21, 2020 Why does everyone let WoWs off the hook for this? Its not just a few users. What is the common thread? Wows servers. PING check earlier today on the NA East and West indicated latency issues 250 + the first check and 1500+ when a ran it again. I can run several games 100fps and 30-35ms Ping then next few stupid ping variances. Have not had this issue in last 9 months and use same service and equipment. Everything checks out on my end. So what gives?

Then will be critical of them.

Nope, we do not segment players into "groups" and everyone has the same access into the server. However, just as was stated in several posts earlier, WG does not control how you connect to our server. Best thing to do besides run a PingPlotter is run a WGcheck report to isolate where the problem lies. Once it is created, send it over the Support team in a ticket so they can review and find out what is causing FPS spikes. #anchorsaweigh

There's no packet loss when pinging the server. You don't need pingplotter to check the routing. Just enter the following in CMD TraceRT www.worldofwarships.com. The last two hops time out which means it's a network issue at the server end.
