I am guessing it may be concept art for Yorktown, if we ever get her in game. The camo is probably her perma camo. It is pretty sharp looking.

No way.  That was her permanent camo?  Any history on that?

I am only guessing since we have yet to see Yorktown as a ship in the game. Given her important role in history, I hope we actually get her sooner rather than later.

In-game that camo appears on HMS Campbeltown. Also Anshan might have it, but it's been months since I played her so I don't remember(and it was a free trial so I can't go & check).

Perma camo is not necessarily historical.

The camouflage/paint scheme that ships had varies by the period of the war. Dazzle was useful against subs because it made figuring the range and speed harder but it actually made it easier for planes with experienced pilots to attack although it was less effective in WWII than WWI because of torpedo and gunnery computers. It was only used when the threat of air attack was minimal so in WWII you see it near the end when the IJN didn't have any trained pilots left.

Looks dissimilar to that applied to Campbelton.  Not a ship of the desert.

Yorktown's camo heading into Midway was Measure 12.

Enterprise was in MS11 scheme for Midway.

It seems she maintained that same scheme through Midway.  Below:
