As we all know, the Kurfurst has been slightly renderer poop by the heavy HE firepower of the Thunderer and the heavy tankiness (and firepower) of the Kremlin.

Therefore, I must ask, when are we getting the H-45 for coal?

I'm no game designer, but 8 x 800mm main guns with 1/4th HE penetration seems quite balanced.
Also, secondary users will find themselves at home with 12 x 240mm dual purpose and
24 x 128mm dual purpose secondaries also boasting 1/4th HE penetration. The Kurfurst 150mm secondaries, after all, are not dual purpose. This set of secondaries would provide a slight boost in AA.
Armor isn't too bad either.

 THOUGHTS?

Not really, think of what a 31" gun would do. The H-44 was supposed to have 20" guns and the jump to 30" plus would have been impossible.

800mm guns?  yeah ok..you would need a hull at least 2000' in length minimum.

well, it would have been fairly large, with a top speed of 28 kts, and use 8 gustav seige guns.

1_VzJ6ZqBwJySODBnpXF9PMA.jpeg.b960bed2644109c50cecff29978e864b.jpeg

the seige guns were rather slow loading, but very accurate, at least on the railway cars they were mounted on.

you could obviously see those monster shells in flight, and even if it was a near miss, would probably flood anything other than another H-45

the 2ndary batteries would be more powerful than most cruisers. the AA would be useless, of course. :o)

UGh just no.....that massive garbage barge would have been bombed too scrap even before it would have completed.

It has 12 x 240mm dual purpose and 24 x 128mm dual purpose with some other AA in lower calibers. But just the secondaries alone would get you a 100 AA rating with 12 flak bursts and 900 continuous damage.

So you could stop half a plane drop.

Why require cruisers when you can BE the cruisers (and the battleship)?

It's a big ship but a relatively tiny planet.

WG needs to fully model and add in a H-45 class battleship.

Then stick it in a German style port near the players ship so people can actually realise ingame how large and imbalanced it'd be.

Also then WG can go "H-45 is in game comrade, do you have port X?"

Germany didn't have the naval industry for that.

Still, the Allies would have had fun sinking it.  It would have made a good notch for the Royal Navy.

Add it to the game just give the main guns a 7 minute reload time to balance the ultra high caliber size, and the 240mm secondaries around the same base reload time as the Henri IV because of how outrageously huge your H-45 is give it the turn radius of of epicenter's outermost ring on the high tier maps speaking of how big your ship is it shouldn't have any concealment so you'll be spotted straight away from spawn provided there's no island between you and enemy spawn.

Now go and enjoy your ship, you paper ship extremist.

Germany was not even able to have 128mm dual purpose gun during the war, and they would have 240mm?

that thing would take up a quarter of the map all on its own and its reload would probably allow you to fire only once during the match, plus the thing would never have floated, would have sunk under its own weight, not that Germany would have had the materials to build one, let alone a drydock that could handle the sheer size of this thing, probably wouldnt even have made it out of drydock, probably would have broken the stuff that held it up because of its insane weight

sure, put it in.....as the halloween event boss. That would be fun. Each turret can turn independently. Each turret fires. 4 ships instantly detonate. You now have 10 minutes to sink it before it fires again until so on until its either sunk or your team is. Expanded ship roster. No limits on types of ships.

The Kurfurst is rendered poop by its rear turret firing angles.  If they were as good as the Kreml's it would be a significantly better ship.

If they went that far, they would be able sell it

The Wright Brothers would have said something similar when told what 60 years later would be taking off from the Boeing factory :-)

Would it have floated? Sure.

Would they have to build a larger dry dock. Sure,

Would it have made sense? Absolutely not.

Did they build it ... there you go.

hmm, matches the H45's weight at about 1.4 billion pounds, but i dont know if that 1.4 billion takes into account when the H45 would be loaded with full ammo and supplies for the crew, but it says that 1.4 billion pounds is the Seawise's fully loaded weight, so if H45s 1.4B doesnt take into account ammo and other supplies, then it beats out the Seawise by quite alot i imagine
