I suggest that the plane automatically tracks and attacks the sub once launched from the ship instead of requiring player control. There's already a lot of micro involved such as manual secondaries, AA sector selection on top of standard controls such as sailing and shooting. If the ASW plane needs constant player input to be effective, the player would be overburdened. This would make the gameplay less fun and cause more friendly ship collisions due to lack of attention to sailing. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

For example, micro-actions in games like Starcraft are simple individually by just pressing a button, but efficiently controlling a bunch of units requires lightning-fast fingers.
