Mine is usually going back to port, and I'm using the birthday desk, last patch screwed up more than just fps drops for me anyway.

In my case, after the installation of the most recent patch my PC locks-up while loading my home port. I then have to reboot the system, ( CTRL+ALT+DEL), to get out. It typically loads on the second attempt. I am hoping they get it fixed with the next update.

That said, I have only experienced the disconnect issue once and that was a few months ago. I was 28 seconds from capping the red home base when the screen went black for a few seconds and then I was back at my home port screen. There was no record of the match to be found, like it never happened.

Go to game settings on the game center and do a check and repair.

If the game still crashes got into the controls in game and reduce your graphics.

These two things have fixed my problems with disconnects and crashes.

@Summon3r

ty will try that, odd that grfx settings is an issue I have no fps issues on max settings?

I'm on Telus ISP in central British Columbia. I've had this issue with disconnects at the summary screen after a battle 95% of the time, ever since the last patch.

Other people have complained in the Bugs forum, but WG says it must be an issue with the ISP.

I find it highly coincidental that these disconnects only started after the last patch.

Also. Why ONLY at the summary screen?

If it is mainly happening at the summary screen, why then? Is there something coded in  the game where the game client goes through another router path to render the results?

I'm not convinced it is an ISP problem.

I too am in BC in the Southern Interior with Telus. I have followed all of WG's steps with the ticket i submitted to them including WG's own networking diagnostic stuff they asked me to do. Fingers crossed they will find a fix, the last response i got from WG said this, you may need to highlight this as the copy paste is very light.... Hello Summon3r.
Thank you for contacting us.

The information you provided has been sent on to our network engineers. We hope that it will be processed as soon as possible and our specialists will contact the representatives of your ISP.

We will additionally contact you if we need any more information.

I have also had troubles since the last patch.  Not all the time at the results screen, but sometimes.  And four times now suddenly getting black screen during the battle.  Amazingly, each time I was able to restart and get back into the battle while still alive.  I re-installed thinking that might fix it but had another one today.  I will have to go over the graphics settings next time to make sure nothing got set incorrectly.

Constant disconnects. Support says it must be my ISP, despite my ISP being the largest in my county and being a 1gbit fiber connection that has no problems with any other online game for all in my household. This only started happening since the update a couple weeks ago.

If you're  in Canada, Its  your ISP cutting corners..

What corners would those be? Curious as I'm in the industry.

No problems prior to the last patch. Disconnects happen much more often while streaming youtube while in game.

Yup. Disconnect 5 times now today. Was just loading into a co-op battle, disconnected, now sitting on waiting for authorization.

Tried Task Manager to desktop, reloaded game, same.

Now I'm getting mad.

..... And now I'm pinked.

Say I was to call my ISP, wait on hold for a couple hours, finally get through to the correct support department maybe, what would I tell is exactly the issue with WOWS?

Here's what I received from WOWS support as a finale to my ticket being closed:

Quote

CLOSED
Hello RunNGunner,

Thank you for contacting Wargaming Player Support!

This is the second case of network issues in Telus network during the past few months.
All reports from Canada players that we are recieving have the same common signs:
1) Numerous ERROR: [Script] [Avatar] connection problem messages in game log.
2) Telus Communications as ISP.

Since we have not received such reports from players with different ISP and could not reproduce the issue by ourselves which means that World of Warships NA periphery is online and available to eveybody, the issue is definitely on your ISP's side.
In this case all we can recommend is to contact your ISP.

Hope that everything works out well soon.

And prior to the ticket being closed is an apparent clue to what allegedly may be the problem:

Hello, RunNGunner.
Thank you for contacting us.

We have several similar complaints from players using the Telus ISP. Most likely, the problem is related to the set permissions on the network of your provider, since we do not observe any problems in the operation of the game server.

We ask you to contact the provider's representatives and find out the reasons for blocking our servers. Game server address - login1.worldofwarships.com
Also, ask your ISP if the use of the p2p protocol is allowed on their network.

According to WOWS, the "p2p protocol" must be allowed. Of course p2p is, otherwise torrents wouldn't work as well as a host of other applications. Is UPNP (universal plug and play) required on the end user router instead of basic NAT?

Is there a list of network requirements specified by WOWS somewhere?

I have also been crashing multiple times after every play session and after all orthodox fixes.  And all crashes either hanging on startup, crashing whilst entering a match or when shifting to match results screen.  All after the last patch, the worst it has ever been for me ever in WoWs.  Same machine since I started playing this game shortly after release, no problems on any other software just WoWs.  It was so bad it is not a satisfying experience.  Now waiting for a patch before committing to teamplay in WoWs.  Seems to me the clutch is gone so we can't shift effectively ;-)

According to what you posted, the WOWS server itself is open for all... Canadian players have been having problems with their ISP for a long time now...

You can change your traffic by using a VPN.. This is a temp fix.. The root of your issue is with the routing structure of your ISP..

Until your ISP improve their Routing capabilities... I am sure, you'll find problems in the future with other internet related activities.

I put in a ticket yesterday and the reply mentioned the problem is exclusively with telus users in Canada.

Support actually provided some good info for a change- but for those of you having issues if you’re with telus we’re all having the same issue though my internet is rock solid- and telus saw no issues with my connection.

this might have already been mentioned if so sorry. Oh I just went back and noticed it is up there after all.
