Lots of accounts from the Pentagon that I had never heard. Also covered the boat lift. Critically injured were loaded first. Then children and women. Families were kept together. There was no central command in NYC for the first 12 hrs and essentially 24 hrs. Americans did what had to be done. EMS was waiting in NJ, Queens, Stanton Island among with taxis and city buses.
