could not have been those other teammates..... yea - no way.

I have found this to happen more often than I would like. Doing a so-so match and finding out you were the best of the team is hilarious and worrying. The skill level seems to be plummeting since long ago, and it's WG's fault (promoting everyone to rush to tier X without learning the basics).

As there is no hope of this getting better soon, then each good player shall continue to do his best and not be a liability.

A lot of ignorant players get upset when cruisers hang back and utilize their DPM at non-suicide ranges, rather than getting “stuck in” with the BBs and DDs. Mostly it’s due to a failure to understand just how fragile most cruisers (especially CLs) are and the fact that many ships (Soviet and German cruisers, in particular) are very effective at long range due to the flat ballistic arcs of their shells.

The thing about Chapayev in particular is that she is also a radar cruiser, so a lot of players think you should get close to the caps, hide behind islands, and use your radar aggressively. What they fail to realize is that Chapayev has neither the armor nor maneuverability of American cruisers, and her shell ballistics are very poorly suited for this kind of combat. Attempting to play the ship in this manner will quickly get you killed. Chapayev is an open water kiting ship, and her long-range, short-duration radar is much more effective as a defensive tool since she can stealth radar. If you get detected in open water, pop your radar and proceed to delete the DD.

Was that even a win?

BXP totals suggest otherwise.

W/out a replay can't determine if you were just farming on the edges or not.

Yugumo w/most plane kills is humorous.

I play mostly Cruisers.  Most people don't understand the difference between these ships.  I have been accused of 'running away' when playing a kiting ship with three reds focus firing me.  Do your best and ignore the salt.  You know what you're doing...they don't.

Nope - it was a loss.  I think the same person also took my remaining karma point :/   Oh well - back to trying to build back up to 5, maybe 10.

Ever find yourself one of the first to die and still be in the top three scorers?  It’s games such as those that cause me to exit to port immediately upon sinking.  Staying to watch such calamities would take me to levels of insanity I hesitate to even contemplate :cap_yes:

The point is not if he was farming on the edge. If that was the case, then it is even worse. What the hell was his team doing that a "edge farmer" got 200 more XP than them?

This type of matches are relatively common too. Specially when you are the first to die and the only one to get a kill or 2 in all the damn team at the end, those are incredibly hilarious. And I agree they are painful to watch.

Wuss.  If you really were good you would have topped both teams.

That likely wouldn't have been acknowledged either.
