Graphics settings does not apply correctly to UI

Issue: When game graphics is set to LOWEST, despite the 3D rendering maxing out at 75fps, the UI will be locked into what feels like 10fps.
Things like damage numbers and rudder position have the most evident low FPS issue.

Expected behavior: UI should have the same FPS as the 3D rendered portion.

Steps to reproduce: Set graphics to Lowest, play a match. Check top left of screen that FPS is 60 or higher, check how sluggish and slow the UI behaves. I used alternative adaptive UI, but I am sure this happens in Full and none.

Win10, Ryzen 2700X, 32GB RAM, GTX 1070Ti

Ahoy @MrDeaf,

Try removing any mods and relaunch the game.

If the problem still persists, do a check/repair of the game client.

Also, since you have a fairly sturdy game rig, the problem might reside with your Internet connection.

  • Is anyone else on-line and streaming/gaming while you're online?
  • Try running the game with no other person streaming/gaming while you're in battle.
  • If problem persists, create a WGCheck report and send it over to the support team in a ticket so they can take a look

There were no mods installed

This was a 100% fresh install

There was no streaming

There was zero issue with the internet connection, it's fiber, and it showed a steady <30ms ping all the time

There is no way WGCheck will work, since the game is no longer on my disk.

I wonder sometimes if people know who you are, right?
