July, August and September  = Q3

2 out of 3 months in Q3 is in Summer season.

On the bright side,

 

for Craig_r that 3rd Quarter of 2013 will be winter time. So instead of huddling inside 'round the fire when the temperature dips below 70 degrees F he can play WoWs and be warmed by the flames of his burning CV's.    :Smile_teethhappy:

Dangit, Wake, didn't you see KGB's post explaining every 'When is WoWs Alpha' question or topic pushes the date back? This topic alone has pushed it back to Q4 2013!

Lol. Just lol. I don't care about the alpha because I don't plan to play it, but at this rate, we'll be lucky to be playing live at any point in 2015.

Unified accounts are already finished, at least as far as using the same login across games.  You'll notice, if you go to their global ID site and try to register, you're sent straight to WoTs.  That said, they probably have some work to do on FreeXP/Gold transfers between games.

I still haven't seen any confirmation of exactly how it will work.  There has been a hint (via the wording of a post from WG staff) that said you would "transfer" FreeXP and Gold to the other game.  Personally, I'm always very careful in my language use, so were it me saying that, the assumption could be made that it wasn't a centralized pool, but rather some kind of form or UI element that would let you select X amount of gold/FreeXP to transfer to WoWp or WoWs from WoT (switch around as needed).  However, one must realize that many WG Devs are not English as a first language, so who knows if the usage of that word was accurate or not.  :)
