eh....don't look pretty for random battles.

 

but meh. doesn't bother me.  co-op is why i play and so this mod wont affect my game experience (unless they start shooting me)

 

 

plus. looking at it. if its an aimbot, just zigzag and it should work against them.  

 

 

with such long flight times of shells,  the aimbot will fire at nothing as long as you are constantly turning

 

after all, its not making the shells turn.  it just using the torpedo code in game to predict your location based on ship speed and shell speed.

 

hell i PREDICTED this would be the first illegal mod to come out.

 

how? 

 

cause i saw it coming once i saw the torpedo sight.

The mod doesn't really give any in game advantage..... except maybe your account info to the makers?

i can see this mod working AGAINST users of it.

 

think of it like the torpedo sights.   zigzag and it makes it worthless =)

Zig and zag sounds great but there are still big areas where the flight time is faster than a ships ability to move sufficiently.

If I am right, that's how a fire director works, it gives a predicted hit zone, kinda. 

Like the assisted torpedo shooting we have.

The problem would be if the aimbot learned to shoot well.

Well, online games with hacks tends to be pretty... interesting.

The only hack I want is for plasters :P

i don't remember the X in game.....so i'm gonna assume its part of the mod.

 

unless it was drawn in to show the mod aiming.  i honestly don't know.

 

maybe its the arrow?

The point is if you do not sail in a straight line, this "mod" is completely worthless.

 

Just like torpedoes and sailing straight.

before the people explode yes this is a tanks based video but this applied to all WG games.

 

MODS DO NOT AND CAN NOT ALTER THE GAMEPLAY. only the look of the game and info given to you.

correct, exactly like Calphayus said.

 

the mod in question makes it easier to guess where to shoot, but you can do that anyway with experience guessing.

 

it does not guarentee a hit.  as RNG will make you miss or the enemy movements will make you miss.

 

 

i do hope this mod encourages people to zigzag.

Yeah I don't see how this makes targeting anyone better other than providing some additional info. i.e. that added markers. You still have to calculate your lead based on distance and target speed and take into account your own speed and direction. I think I have been hit only a handful of times from distances outside 12 KM because I wasn't zigging or zagging. Also Idk the opponents experience in terms of how many games they have played but I could assume they had a lot of practice or RNG was on their side for that Shot. 

 

Considering the odds of all your shells hitting the target are pretty small when you take into account the caliber gun and its accuracy dispersion. i.e. Kongo 14 inch guns has a +/- of 267 meters at extreme ranges hitting with 1 or 2 rounds is a bit of luck and your opponent moving in a straight line and all it takes is one hit in the citadel to put a hurt on someone

No ... the Mod is way more dangerous to use than you expected .....

When I tested it temporarily, I can even land a full salvo (10/12 Shells) with my Cleveland from max range when attacking a relatively small cruiser (hilariously, Citadel Hit with max damage).

how?

RNG at that range should spread the shots out.

 

and no mod can affect the spread rate as thats up to the server.

 

the most it can go is give u the predicted place to shoot based on thier speed(like torpedos)

 

if enemy turns then you wasted your shot.
