I play WOT avidly spent hundreds of dollars and have 6 tier Xs and 5 other lines at tier VIII. I'm not asking for preferential treatment just to be told yes or no for the beta not processing for a month. Really want to play this game and help it develop because there is so much potential in it. Also before you all call me a liar when you look up my pc WOT and se only a tier III I play on the Xbox 360 Edition of WOT and have a 1650 WN8. My x-live gamer tag is Yeller Belli. WG chooses who they let in based on all sorts of variables which no players have specific knowledge of. many that got in fast were testers in other WG games so allowing them in makes sense and others were lucky. you need to wait your turn and understand that your are not the only one that wants in. The amount of money spent equals to nothing at this point. It's just bad luck it's taken you so long. Also it really looks like you're asking to be let in because you've shelled so much money at this. My x-live gamer tag is Yeller Belli. its not Bias it was a timing thing.. a member here posted on the tanks forums that keys were available to the weekend test back in january. I applied and was accepted within 20 minutes. not to rub salt in your wound but when i gained access to the forums here another member had a link for additional keys. i passed that info on to 8 of my clan mates and after a brief survey they got in as well.. When they could have participate in one of the bata test weekends which was easy to get a key. that would have put in in the bata test automatically. I had to be away from home for two weeks that straddled the dates and I didn't want to take a key away from somebody who was able to be there. Again, work screws with my fun. You say you are not expecting preferential treatment due to your WoT experience, but I am afraid that your post makes it sound like that is exactly what you are hoping for. I'm in beta now as well and at this point I will actually be able to test and read posts about game mechanics I can see. I won't be devoting anymore time or energy to those begging. I'm in the CBT for generals, and I still haven't been added to the WoWS Beta, so Beta experience may not be all that important in their choosings. On the other hand, I actually do agree with the "Yes or No" mentality. It would be a bit more annoying, yes, to have to reapply each time a new wave came, but I really don't like playing the waiting game. When they finish one wave of applicants, they should send a "sorry, not this time" email to everyone who didn't get in, so they're at least not whining on the forums about "still waiting." A very big part of my frustration with not getting in so far relates to being told "we're still looking at your app", despite it being kinda clear after 3 months that it's a no. It's not a spark of hope that I'll get in, now it's just more of flipping the bird to me and laughing at how many lengths I'll go to to make it happen, when I know it won't anyway. I'm in CBT as of today. I had three streams running on a laptop and dual monitor rig and got my key. My point (the one you seemed to have missed) was that to obnoxiously tease people anxiously waiting (especially those doing so patiently like I was) is rude, immature and uncalled for. And seriously, who rickrolls anymore? It kind of lost its meaning when a group did it in the Oregon State congress. Not really hip or cool then. If your angst and ire was meant for the OP then you should have quoted him and stated you had a beta key for him. Not a beta key for anyone needing or wanting to be involved in CBT.
