its come to the time now where voice communication is needed for the WHOLE TEAM..

this is to stop those morons running off in tunnel vision chasing one ship or two or three ships north off the map thinking he can sink them  in some god like battleship and dying when the the team needs him to kill a dd in the cap spotted by the carrier and constant calling in text and messages gets no result while he gives up map control to the enemy.  Still you cant gauge the stupidity of some people  or the fact that they never never look at the minimap  or how good it could be to teach them in a game.

Thats just one instance and im sure you all have seen many different scenarios but its just one example of team co-ordination could be better co-ordinated with full team voice capability.

I get in some instance there will be a language problem  but i think overall,  its going to be far beneficial in the future.

Yes please.

And not just for team play but think of the new friends everyone will make. Good for finding people to division with and recruiting people for Clans. There's almost no downside.

If you want to hear a bunch of man children scream and cry at each other over a video game just play this in the background instead

No thank you.  Nothing worse than an armchair general in WoT or WoW trying to give orders to a random team.  Imagine having three on one team, what a mess that would be.  There is no command structure on random 12 man teams.  Most make it worse by trying to give orders.

Do you really, really want to listen to a squeaky 14 yr old yell at you?

Think about it.

Most of us would turn it off immediately or within the first few days.

I'd probably just start singing show tunes.

I think team wide voice cons could be very useful provided there is an opt out or mute option.

What makes you think that your team will listen any more to you in audio form than in chat? It won't solve any problems - Like Killjoy noted most of us would just turn it off within a game or two of it being implemented.

It would be hilarious if only to experience the chaos of people speaking english, spanish, portuguese, french, cursing each other in a miriad of regional flavored slangs

I play with the game muted and only talk on voice to my clan in discord.  I would turn it off immediately after downloading the patch that had it.

Fallout 76 tried it for a while right at launch.  Open mics, turned on by default.  I was greeted to the game in the starting area by some guy eating what I can only assume was spaghetti or soup, some guy yelling profanities at someone else in his house and a third person blasting heavy metal music turned up to 11 for everyone else to "enjoy".  Those were just the loudest.  Added to it, there was the noise of about 30 of people's various open mics and whatever craziness was happening in their house or whatever was on their TV.

It completely ruined the starting story of the game, for everyone. The developers at first had a hard stance on it, that it was needed for the atmosphere of the game, to add to excitement when running into another player in the world.  Pretty quickly after launch day, they caved and pushed out a patch that turned it off.

We don't need to learn that lesson again.  We didn't need to learn it the first time either.

On my phone screen the description came up as "the soothing sound of..." & at 1st it wouldn't play (phone takes a loooong time to load things occasionally) & the timer was just locked at 0:00.

I though it was a "silence" meme at 1st on account of it...lol

So I scrolled down & read a few other replies & all of a sudden it started sounding like a musicless porn video was playing in the background...much to my surprise it ended up being a clip from something that looked like Disney :-0

I've seen a lot of bad suggestions here. But you've managed the worst.
