Ok so I recently picked this game up after about 5 years of seeing ads for it. I'm really into WW2 and games that explore it.

But holy f*ck whoever is in charge of marketing at WG needs to be replaced, would've started playing this game years ago if it wasn't for them.

Hey welcome to the game and forum!

Out of curiosity, what turned you off about the ads?

I was a forum warrior for a Minecraft forum back in the day, so using the site shouldn't be a problem. But nice to know people are nice here :)

Aloha, don't give up in frustration early on, there is a lot of stuff to learn about this game besides the poor advertising.

The level of incompetence isn't limited to advertising...wait 'til you get a load of CVs. They're are broken, broken, broken.

Hm a lot of people missed OP's point.  OP is saying if the marketing for this game existed beyond some youtube ads, more people would have picked up this game earlier.  I know I would have.
