Beta keys for sale on ebay

I'm patiently waiting for my chance to be a beta tester. I find myself so excited "at 45 years old" i'm like a 8 year old waiting for xmas day to come. I check my email "way to much" in hopes of a beta key it's like opening a xmas or birthday gift lol. I was told by a friend that Beta keys codes are for sale on ebay and sure enough they are at a price of 89 dollars. I maybe a noob here but i am a hardcore gamer so this can't be legit and i hope this post finds it's way into wow official hands and this is looked into. I follow wow daily even hourly seen every video that gets posted been through the website cover to cover i'm so excited for the release of this epic game and can't say enough great things about it i'm really looking forward to seeing everyone on the high seas.

I think the sale of Beta keys violates the EULA. Not sure though.

It unfortunately is legit, they're streamers that instead of giving away keys, they're selling them. Please report them to both WG and Ebay.

They shouldn't be giving away keys to imitation scum.  Keys should come straight out of WG.

As a professional merchant who has sold on Ebay, I find the sale of the beta keys on the Ebay platform to be very unethical, and as requested above, reportable to WOW.  If you encounter someone who is selling fake keys, please do report it and Ebay will take action against that person. Ebay will take steps to make sure that you get your money back if you have been cheated.   Likewise, if it violates a company policy or at least the spirit of the law, Ebay should be contacted by the company and I am reasonable sure that they will take action to halt this practice.  Meanwhile, we all sail on awaiting the day when we can all be sailing the high seas in WOW together.  Good luck one and all.

I wouldn't know, but my friend bought one from him and it works. Alt account + ebay = Beta. Just saying. Spend $60-80~ bucks for hours of good times.   Thing is, they set themselves up for this when they limit the keys and don't setup up an early access beta package that you can buy to get in early and test. If anything, I applaud those Ebay guys for getting keys out so we can enjoy it. I'd happily pay for early access, but if they wont sell them I will find someone else that will.

2. This is Closed Beta TESTING,  if you want to just play the game, its better to wait until open beta or release

But who can blame them. To some $60-80~ is a couple hours at work and you are getting more than a couple of hours of  game play for that price.

"...Of The Game". This is not referring to a beta key. This would get picked apart real fast. Basically they are saying you can't take the game, rip the name off and label it as "World of Battleships" in layman's terms.

- As long as you accept this EULA you are given the rights to download, install and play the game.

Well, unless someone can spot a specific line in the EULA and ToS, it's not illegal from where I am standing.
