I wasn't aware you were fixing this.

I can turn my sound effects back up now that you've restored the original sound of my shells stricking an enemy.

Much more pleasant than that horrible garbage can gong introduced in the last patch.

Wait did that get patched in the micropatch earlier this week? I set my modpack to get rid of it, thought that was it. Good to know, because yeah the fact that it sounded like someone hitting a metal trashcan with a bat all game was hella annoying.

Ya know what I'm not sure if I spoke too soon.

I just played a match and depending on my view aspect and how I hit the opponent, the boom sound was in and out.

Maybe you can give it a whirl because now Ima thinkin I prematurely emotilated.

The attenuation for distance is inconsistent.

And evidently your zoom binoculars are also able to amplify sound at distance... and that's intentional on WG's part.  :Smile_sceptic:

That's quite a strange decision imo, quite jarring hearing your shell ricochet 16km away.  It's very uncanny valley.
