When will Wargaming fix the (Listen to your own music) setting? Every time I use it, the game crashes, now, while it used to work before. There is no specific explanation of how long a track or what the max bit rate of a file can be to make the setting not crash the game while playing custom music, or is the setting just unstable outright. I'm stuck listening to default music when I play.

Well, first time i have run into this, I have National Voiceover for what ever country my ship and others are in.  So not everyone is speaking english on those F2 etc..  Quick message Keys.  All i hear is myself now and nobody else.  I hear the roger beeps like someone sent a message.  Normally i hear GOODLUCK etc.. With F10 Now i just hear a beep.  I have everything checked and all turned up.  I set everything to Nation country or something like that.  I never touched the setting till i couldn't hear them anymore.  Again they are all Checked except loudness compensation and listen to own music. :Smile_sad:

LIKE THE  last big audio update, it is obvious the people that do this don't play the game as after a few games at full setting you are running screaming   down the street.

as the guns rattle your teeth, the thump thump of the engines hammer your brain like that old tv adv. for pain pills with the little man with a sledge hammer on your head.

and you cant hear what your need to hear.  Luckly you can turn most of the stuff way down or off. Lot of people don't bother fine adj an just kill stuff (sad overkill)

Same as with the realistic glare that makes it impossible to read game chat or other on screen info. works against playability.

I suspect one reason so much adjustment info is given as they know the game is unplayable with all the audio at 100%.

Make for a fine game demo, but unplayable gaming..

I wear headphones, which makes some of the out-of-control sounds all that much worse.  I play with most settings at very low levels as a result.  WG keeps trying to 'bundle' volume controls.  They need to have a full control screen for each sound type or at a minimum all the different areas where sound is used.

Yeah it works for all the regular commanders, but when you captain one of the non english special commanders like Dasha, the ARP, and the HSF ones over ride English and speak in their own languages.  Wish there was a way to force them to speak the generic English voiceover

I use National Voiceover for my ships, so that hasn't been as much of a problem.  (I understand the Dasha captain only speaks Russian regardless of the nationality, but I haven't acquired that captain)

I've had the same frustration with the "Listen to your own music" setting.  Now after 0.9.6 that feature seems to be fully disabled, so I'll run without it until I've heard they've restored it.

I ended up sending a ticket in, there was once i heard one of the Asian girls sounds from another ship but i figured that was just a glitch.   Like the program was trying to work but that was last week sometime.

I got the userMusic to work for me by moving the "userMusic" folder to Games > World_of_Warships_NA > bin > 2666186 > res>

hope this helps.

On the upside some of the music sounds better and the last event sound now works again (e.g. you killed the last ship, ending the game, and you hear "You sunk a battleship").

Unfortunately horns have been muted so much they are useless now; either remove them entirely or turn the volume back up.  For now I don't bother using the horn anymore.  Scratchy noise are now present during loadin (no biggie, but a stupid mistake by somebody).  Muffled voices when scoped in are really annoying; but fortunately they can be turned off in settings.  The end game sound transition is now botched, possibly due to fixing the missing last event sound bug, so there's an uncomfortable period of silence.

And I miss the feature where the game could be loaded and it would sit on the login screen playing the cool music.  Now it boots into the game center launcher.

Stop making changes for the sake of making changes.  Original designs are often the best and fking with them without a good reason makes things worse.

I DO NOT LIKE when zoomed in through scope and I move the controls there is a high-pitched whining sound of the motor moving the scope. I really hate that sound. How do I turn that crap off? I already have tinnitus so I sure don't need another high-pitched junk sound in my ears.

I sent in a ticket about this and just heard back from them. Your folder structure you list there is apparently now where the user music will be stored, BUT apparently the contents of that folder will be deleted with each update!

I actually like the new sounds,

all except that whatever its supposed to be stupid lipsmacking sound that plays in game on any map. It drives me nutz!

No clue what what it is... a tadpole that keeps jumping out of the water?

Ok that is both really annoying and dumb. It's a good thing I've recently switched to a new computer and thus have a backup copy of the last version of WOWS that I had on my old computer. I was saving backups of all of my game files, partly to transfer, partly in case the transfer went wrong. Geez, if I would've had to re-compile all those dang songs AND run them back through a program to boost the volume on them, I think I would've torn my hair out. Guess I need to  start remembering to save a backup of that folder every time I add a new track.

for me new sounds so bad :(

"Kellie?" Gina said in surprise as the older woman reached for another small stack of envelopes to feed into the machine.

Pausing in her task, Kellie turned her head in Gina's direction, a smile appearing as she recognized her. She switched off the machine, allowing her to safely turn her attention away from it.

"Gina, what are you doing here?" Kellie asked.

"I was just about to ask you the same thing," Gina countered.

"Well, it's Friday and, snow or no snow, the Bernstein Bulletin has to go out," Kellie said, holding the stack of envelopes in her hand a bit higher for emphasis.

The Bernstein Bulletin, as Gina had learned soon after she'd started at Casella and North, was a financial newsletter that Abraham Bernstein put out each week and that clients paid a great deal of money to receive. With over two thousand people on the mailing list, it brought the company a significant income every week.

"But why are you mailing them out?" Gina further inquired. "Isn't that what the mailroom clerks are for?"
https://assfuckgif.com/category/[edited]/
"One of the government projections that Mr. Bernstein wanted to include in this week's letter was delayed, so I didn't get to print it out until after four," Kellie explained. "Since I can run the machines down here as well as they can, I didn't see any reason why they needed to hang around and wait for it. I just told them to leave me the key to the postage meter and I'd drop it in the lock box when I was done."

Even with her limited experience, Gina knew there was much more to it than that. The average bulletin ran five pages, and the Xerox copier, which thankfully could sort the pages into the proper order, could only make twenty-five copies at a time. Then the pages needed to be folded and fitted into pre-addressed envelopes. The folding was done by machine but they had to be stuffed into the envelopes by hand. Finally, they were run through the meter which printed the proper postage on them and sealed the envelopes. From there it was just a matter of dropping them into the open mail sack reserved for just that purpose.

Gina smiled, thinking that had been an extremely nice thing for her friend to have done. Most anyone else, and to be honest, considering the circumstances, she would probably have to include herself, would've just dropped the report and left it for the mail clerks to handle, storm or no storm.

"So, what are you still doing here?" Kellie then repeated. "I would've thought that, living all the way out in Queens, you'd have taken off hours ago."

"No, such luck," Gina replied. "They wanted someone here to answer phones and since I'm the low woman on the totem pole, here I am."

"No one wanted to volunteer?" Kellie asked. "That's surprising, I would've thought that Donna or Carol would've at least offered. After all, they share an apartment only a few blocks from here."

"Excuse me, what?" Gina replied, surprised in her voice.
https://analporngif.com/category/anal/
"Donna Walsh and Carol Briggs, you've met them, I'm sure, lovely girls." Kellie continued. "One or both of them usually stays when there's bad weather."

"I don't know them well but I've met them," Gina replied, picturing the two thirty-something blondes in her mind, "but no one said anything about asking for volunteers. Joan just told me that I ..."

"... that you were the one who had to stay," Kellie said, completing the sentence.

"Exactly."

"She was supposed to ask for volunteers first," Kellie added. "It was part of the memo from the partners."

"crap!" Gina exclaimed under her breath.

'I know she doesn't particularly like you, but have you done something lately to really piss her off?" Kellie asked.

Gina hesitated, then decided that there was no reason not to tell Kellie. She quickly recounted what happened the night of the Christmas party, only to be interrupted before she could finish by the sound of the older woman's laughter.

"Oh, how I wish I could've been the one to walk in on her," Kellie said as she regained control.

"Why do I have the feeling that you're not surprised?" Gina asked.

"Well, it's not exactly a secret," Kellie explained, "at least not to those of us on the ninth floor."

"So, she's been doing that for a while then?" Gina further asked.

"Honey, if you'd come in five minutes later, you'd have probably found her bent over old man North's desk," Kellie again laughed, this time not so hard. "Joan Hendricks has been spreading her legs for him since she was part of the secretarial pool; that's how she wound up as office manager. You didn't think she got where she is because of her superior management skills, did you?"

Ever since that night, Gina had wondered about precisely that, so it was nice to have her suspicions confirmed.
