Just watching the new movie Greyhound with Tom Hanks. My idea is as follows...

The game starts with the last plane saying "Good luck" as its at the end of its endurance. (no planes then...)

Six or so Destroyers and Cruisers (with Depth Charges) have to escort the convoy to the other end of the map... enemy bots would all be submarines....

The only difference to our game (because of map size limitations) would be that there would need to be Islands.

I cannot think of a better way to teach a team to play as a REAL team than this, both radar (IF POSSIBLE) and hydro-acoustics would be the only real way to win!

To make it a real challenge, 15 to 20 enemy subs would be facing the team.

Well, that is my idea, I'm going back to finish the movie.

  • Cool 3
  • Boring 1

Well, not quite.. but then, so many scenarios have things random play doesn't, like liberty ships... if if not really subs, something can be pushed in, they did it to simulate fast torpedo boats in the Dunkirk rescue mission... so subs that simulate subs :Smile_ohmy:

it could be done now as no players will be driving them!
