Other than divisions, there are 2 methods that I am aware of.

For me: Play whatever ship WG 'allows me' to win on.
Performance means nothing. Just pick the right ship and get lots of wins.
Seems to be a cycle at 11pm central time, and definitely the 5am reset.

But that doesn't work for my buddy. If he plays the same ship more than twice he gets screwed big time,
so he has to play a different ship every battle.

I'm usually to busy grinding to care, but a long string of losses will force me to change ships.
It's annoying, but it is what it is.

The number one thing you can do to get better is understand positioning and map awareness.  Mini Map is the Key.  Make it big.  Look at it all the time.  Maximize broadsides.   The next thing you can do is improve our aim.  Use the Nomgram Classic aiming crosshair in the  world of warships mod station.  This crosshair reticle is accurate at all ranges, unlike the base game reticles. I would then suggest watching CCs on twitch.  This has really helped me out.

you can start by not staying way behind to farm damage and hug the borders. USE the minimap at all time!

Don't suck, have premium account so you don't play ships stock configuration for long, play in divisions with other good players.

Purple stats are attainable by anyone. My wife is 55% purple following this method. She is brand new to the game and knows nothing.

Seems to happen to me too.  Sometimes I pick a ship I have pretty good WR on and I lose three in a row.  It's WG telling me to try another ship.  Trouble is I want to complete a mission using the 3 loss in a row ship and keep banging my head against a wall sometimes because of it.

I know this is probably misperception on my part, but losing 2 in a row is a message to use a different ship.

That's the same problem I have.
I try to keep multiple grind ships around, but I'm running out of things to grind.
I have tons of ships in port, but a lot of times it's only one ship that's best suited for a mission.
If I'm lucky I can go play another game and come back tomorrow, when things might be better.
But sometimes you just want to get the stupid thing done, so you suffer through a long string of losses.

1) Not sure if post is dual purpose asking for help and whining about Russian bias or if it is just a whine about Russian bias.

2) No need to lie about stats you don't have when asking for help.

3) Focus on learning to survive longer while actively participating in the battle.  If you are too aggressive and sink early you can no longer significantly impact the course of the match.  Conversely, if you over-prioritize survival and hide in the back you don't impact the match in the most crucial, opening phases and by the time you are in the fight the match is usually already decided one way or the other, more often as a loss due to your ship not participating in the opening phases.

4) A lot of people are saying to division to get a better win rate.  That is the reason that many of us only look at solo win rate.  Divisioned win  rates introduce way too many variables for them say anything about your skill.

Play with the maths. Cut your loses short. Always play until your first defeat for the day.
