Game Crashing since 9.6 Installed

Downloaded and installed 9.6 this morning.  I've been able to get into the port and navigate, but game play has been impossible.  As soon as I get into a match, the game freezes and I have to use Windows Task Manager to halt the WOWS processes.   I've gotten into 3 matches where it froze.  After the 2nd, I was made pink for 10 matches for quitting early.  Really?

No error codes or messages displayed.  Just screen freezing.

Graphics is already minimized, never run any modes, same system I used Tuesday the last day I played.

Crashes and freezes are reminders to update and properly install your GPU/CPU drivers.

I would start there first.

All drivers are up to date.

Ran the WG Check, it said to delete 6 files.  I did so, still crashing.

Was thinking about buying some new ships.  Not now if I can't play the game.

im also constantly getting crashes

everything up to date, 3600 and vega 64

update: unistalled and reinstalled the game, haven't had another game crash since

Same issue here. Crashes constantly since the update. Repairing the game doesn't help and it's not a driver issue (they actually just updated yesterday).

As I said earlier, drivers are up to date.  Something is wrong with the game client.  Going to try an uninstall/reinstall next.

I've been building PCs since 1990,,,, yes, they are installed properly.

In a troubleshooting situation, I am not going to assume nothing or anything to the contrary... The objective is to make sure all the steps are followed... Its not an attack on what you know...

That is why I ask a very basic question.. Were the drivers installed correctly?? What process did you use to install them?

Have you also checked, if your PC's resources are being starved and from where ?

Reinstalled the Game Client, All Drivers are up to date and yes they are installed correctly!!!! Get into a match and within 3 minutes of start... IT freezes everything.. the whole damn system.. Windows task won't even show up.. I have to actually hard restart!

The process is simple and was followed to the letter.

System resources are fine up until a match begins.  Then within 1-2 min of the match starting the game freezes.  I must manually stop the game via Task Manager, which shows disk usage at or near 100%, CPU at or near 100%.  As soon as I stop the game, they return to normal.

I've set graphic requirements to lowest setting and it still crashes.

I've run WG Report and deleted the files it told me too.

I've never run any mods.

This is not the first time this has occurred following at patch.  But its been well over a year since the last incident.  WG usually issues a subsequent patch which resolves the issue.  Til then, unable to play the game.  

Going to try the re-install tonight, but I'm not putting much faith in it.  WG screwed something up.

Again I did not ask if it was simple or not... Following to the letter is not enough to answer the question...

When you updated your drivers, what process was done to install them ?? Details please.


Also, just because your client is messed up... It doesn't mean its server wide... In other words, this is a local machine issue other then WG server issue...

I dont have a problem or issues with my client, I have my drivers installed properly... That is usually the number one issue for must people with client issues...

So its best to check there first before anywhere else.

Be very careful with this user, instead of giving some valid advice, it is based on problems of others instead of thinking that the patch is wrong, 
post in all posts without giving concrete answers.
Something is wrong with the patch, it won't let me in, and having players with Intel celeron up and using bad internet in my clan they go perfectly.

Question, Are you updating the Intel graphics card or do you a separate card ?

No, I haven't a separate card, Intel GPU is from my laptop, and I played fine without any issues until 0.9.6 upgrade. Any advice?

Nope sorry, Nothing in my tool bag will help you...

Mainly, I don't know if intel or your Lenovo manufacturer, have GPU or CPU patch support available... Its not like the major Graphics card makers like Nvidia or Radeon, they have patches or newer versions every so often. As needed...

Intel or Lenovo, if your warranty is expired... Then I don't think you have options left... Try contacting them, see what they can recommend...

From my end, nope nothing I can do for you... WG is consistently upgrading their graphic engine... Low end PC are in the fringe.
