These Independence Day Random Bundles are a RIP-OFF!  DO NOT BUY!  I spent 12,000 gold and didn't get a single ship and very few signal flags!  Before I started buying I was hoping for 2 or 3 ships and figured at a minimum I would get 1.  But I got NONE!  And I could have purchased the signal flags for MUCH less than the gold I spent.  I got some of the specials signal flags but most were the run of the mill ones and the special ones did in no way justify the cost!

I always purchase Christmas gifts as they are a very good deal and I was expecting this to be the same.  But it was the opposite, it was a RIP OFF, plain and simple, don't waste your money and gold on these bundles!

Those were the ones where you saw EXACTLY what you were purchasing BEFORE you hit the "PURCHASE" button, right? <sigh>

Honestly, it's only worth it if you know, that you get a ship you dont' own with the first bundle.

But hey, it's called random bundle, WG turned the game into a virtul Las Vegas.

F for bank account.

Unless there was a ship in the very first bundle, the expected value of these was terrible. ~8% chance per pull of ship (or worse, this is unregulated...) nothing else worth anything. For 1500g a pop.

The most valuable doubloon ship, Massachusetts, can be purchased from the Armory for less than 10k with the coupon we just got.

Obviously a bad deal even if one wanted Massachusetts and *knew* it would turn up on Pull 11.

Have you heard of casinos? Please stay away from those.

I don't understand why anyone is shocked they don't pull ships. Look at all the free crates for the last 8 events that have a possibility of ships. How many have you gotten from those?

Yep. This.

If the first one is a ship, you get it. If they keep on being ships, you keep on getting them.

If they stop being ships, or they don't start out with a ship, you stay the :etc_swear: away.

OP spent more doubloons on trying to get a ship than on buying one for absolutely certain. :fish_palm:

Heck, the first one that came up for me had frakking ramming flags in the bundle.  $0.00 spent.

I did two bundles, my second bundle had the Alabama in it! Guess what ship I bought a week ago, yep, you guessed it, the Alabama!

IIRC you get three thousand dubs for the duplicate, so if you bought it and stopped right there you at least got all your doubloons back.

Like @Captain_Slattery, I got flags and camos on the first throw. Nope and goodbye.
