Is it me or are there only 18 shipyard tokens in Combat mission and you need 20 to get the ODin.  How do you get the other 2????

You need to use doubloons for the last 2. They told you that before the event started.

This is something WG learned from the PR fiasco, They gave advance warning to the expense of 1750 Doubloons each for the last Two Missions in order to receive the ship.

For 3500 dubloons, I think the Odin is a steal. Really fun boat.

But if you paid the early package (8000 doub) when the dockyard first activated, you get it done by completing the 4 directives. The rest if you complete will get steel as reward ...

You have to pay @ 3200 dubs to complete the missions ...anywhere in-between or at the end. It was stated on the release notes. So there wouldnt be any confusion.

 

You actually thought WG would GIVE us a free ship ...lol. they have to make money somewhere.

The only free ship you will get from the event is a good tier 6 CA.

It was clearly advertised beforehand that you do not get the ship with the missions. What you get is a 90% discount on it. You still have to buy it for the remaining 10%

The OP's forum profile shows he has 467 battles, so he is probably a newbie.  I'll cut him some slack based on that.

I have also gotten another 61 premium ships for free.  You can complain about WG being stingy under certain circumstances, but giving out free ships is not one of them (granted, some of those were coal, Free XP, Research Bureau, or steel ships).

I think it would be sweet if they made the Spee a "locked down" premium, removed from availability for at least six months, when this event ends.

Then, "as a result of data captured from the increased number of them being played, we are going to buff a few things". The buff would be slight, not make her a super killer or anything, but something that just increases demand a bit. 

Sort of a "see, if you participate, you may get additional bonus content down the road.."

Everyone sort of ignores her. She's a gorgeous ship, well worth the mission content. I double checked and she's a full premium, at least mine is... 

If Odin is under 4K doubloons, that puts her around $10 USD. The price is very reminiscent of early game purchases from way back. I'll likely take the plunge.

Very yes!  She is also a major league cruiser killer.  Strong alpha strike, good dispersion, KM style hydro with aggressive torpedo arcs.

HSF Graf Spee was my very first premium ship and she is still one of my most played ships.  She is a great mid-point reward.

I wouldn't say no to a bit of a buff though.

I'll meant a ship that is new to the game ...GS has been in the game forever, she really doesn't count unless youre new to the game or you really don't like German ships. Besides it's not like you receive dublooms for it if you already have her, that would make it too easy for people to finish up the two missions you literally pay for to get Odin. You pay $3 bucks or pay $300. Cash is cash m8.

Yes GS was free for me and yes WG gave it to people. But that was before all this nonsense of paying for missions to get a ship. You pay something now no matter what .

Either way GL to all of U trying to grab the Odin.
