When French battleships were announced, they had a video with a dev showing the models and the Republique had a rotating stack that turned with rudder.  I notice this doesn’t happen in game and am wondering if my memory is playing tricks on me.

I remember that, the idea was not to obscure gun directors or something; but since that doesn’t matter in game... :cap_hmm:

One of two things if that was a thing:

  1. You have to adjust settings to a certain level
  2. They cut it so that it wouldn't crash potatoes

Part of why there is no longer debris after a ship sinks, reduced number of sinking animations, etc.
