  • T8 Kansas 4X3 406MM
  • T9 Minnesota 4X3 406MM
  • T10 Vermont 4X3 457MM

Slower speed than other side of line but better AA and more HP. T10 will hav e second most HP of any BB only behind Kreml.

YES YES YES!!!!! :cap_horn::cap_like::cap_fainting:

:Smile_sceptic:

Vermont is either going to be the most uncomfortable ship ever, or the powercreep is real.

Also T7 premium Florida with 3x4 14* inch guns and DFAA.

What's the point of California existing again? :Smile_veryhappy:

It's amazing how WG was able to find paper napkins with US BB drawings in Soviet archives.

Yeah that looks brutal BUT what will the reload be? 40 sec...? :Smile_unsure: I am betting it will be 35+ easy.

New line with AA focus.  Too bad AA has been largely useless since the rework.

I would rather grind life rafts. I will have nothing to do with subs. You and Blorgh2017 are wasting your time trying to goad me into them. Nope!

Also like, 4x3 457s. Literally any cruiser from T8 to T10:

By their looks they will be slow and poorly armored.  Probably going to be miserable to play.  Also a bit sad that they had to make designs up, given how many real USN ships there were.

Yes, the Cali is pretty... but I'd rather snatch up a Florida!

The one thing that scares me is @Hapa_Fodder was saying things like "8-10 knots" slower...   Ummm, no please... please don't do that to us.  Gotta be north of the Standards.  25, ok.  19.5 =  SCREAM!!!!

Right, and were all suckers here.

The Tier VIII is the South Dakota 1923 design. The one that was supposed to be the successor to to the Colorado Class.

The Tier IX is one of the Tillman Battleships. Either the Tillman IA or the IB

The Tier X is a variation of the Tillman III

We have real blueprints for all of these, no napkin sketches, no nothing.

-Shrayes

Edit: Sorry, had to look through my papers again. It's not the Tillman IV as the Tier X, it's a Variation of the III

What I find surprising is that they wen't backwards in time to pull these designs but if you want to see Tillmans in the game (and I know many do/ did) who am I to say it was wrong? I'm just disappointed we didn't get a deeper split with real ships or see the actual South Dakota-class. Fun fact: they pulled the names from Connecticut-class battleships (Kansas, Minnesota and Vermont all part of that class)

Utter nonsense.

Completely ignore real ships to do a stupid, truncated split of utterly fake crap even when doing a navy that has real ships available to use.

No Nevada.  No Pennsylvania.  No Tennessee.

WG has completely lost the plot.

F grade effort.

Hopefully they will use Washington, South Dakota and/or New Jersey as premium ships in the armory or Research Bureau.  It would be a shame to not use them at all.

  1. Hapa wasn't sure when he said 15"
  2. It looks like a North Carolina, the original NC design called for 3x 4 14"
  3. The US never had 15" guns
  4. 3x 4 15" is a bit much at T7

I'm thinking they're 14s, not 15s.

That would make a lot more sense. It also looked like one of the prelim NC designs to me.
