New Daily Missions Now Give Only 2 Port Slots Instead or 3

Anyone notice that the daily missions for July are only giving 2 port slots? Kind of disappointed about this. The research bureach pints are nice but they’re so little.

Nope, I just play, I don't even pay attention to those missions, and when I get a slot it is good.

Can’t relate on the RB bit because I’m not participating.

The RPs are just there to tempt players into taking part in the RB, nothing more.

They'll need to tempt me to get 5 tier Xs first.

I think that's part of the idea here.

"Oh, you're missing out on some of the monthly mission payouts, better get more tier Xs!  Just gotta spend some money free XP!"

I did notice, and frankly, I'm not surprised they reduced the number of port slots you could get.  The previous set up was incredibly generous.  I started this year with 2 open slots.  I've gotten quite a number of new ships in the past 6 months (and sold none), and I now have 25 open port slots.  That would probably last me for over a year, even if they never gave me another one.  Considering that they sell the things for dubloons, I'm actually surprised they are still giving them away at all.

When WG announced changes I was worried they would stop give any port slots. Of course more is better but it is a nice reward IMO.

You've been around since 2016, they were shoveling port slots and captain reserve spots onto people. Players actually complained about getting them in containers.

People were complaining about getting captain reserve spots, I never heard anyone complain about port slots.

Yeah. Captain reserve slot I don't really care for. Those are easy to get and plentiful. It's spot slots that are harder to get.

The port slot allocation has gone down. However, the amount of XP, free XP and elite commander XP they give out over the long term has gone UP, and it is now far easier to access it all. One 250 BXP battle every day gets you all of it.

They used to give zero port slots.

They are always available for 300 or 150 doubloons...just saying.
