I thought it was strange, since we just finished one, but they added a random drawing so ok.
Pressed the Participate button.
Got the Sierra Mike flag.
Nothing showed up under Combat.
Started 12 fires in Ranked.
No reward.

Not worth sending in a ticket.
Anyone else having this problem?

It's likely under personal missions.

Edit: Actually did you activate it with the game open? Try restarting the game. It appeared fine for me under combat missions.

You are a couple of days early... Canada day is July 1st....

News item says it starts today, until July 3rd.

Personal missions don't exist anymore.

I did activate it with the game open, and restarted the game. Did NOT however restart WGC. I'll try that.

Restarted from scratch, no joy.

Looks like it's only me. No biggie, got lots of camos, and already have Haida. (good ship)

WGC shouldn't have anything to do with this.  Be sure to let us know if it does.

I think you already finished the mission. It dropped last Friday. The opt-in did NOT trigger the mission, which was given to all players without an opt-in. (So I finished the mission too before I saw the article today.)

The Canada Day mission was under "Combat" and not "Personal."

See more about the mission at: https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/sales-and-events/missions-095-weekly-1/

That makes sense. Thanks. Hey, at least I got a speed flag outta the deal!

Yeah, I was suspecting so. Well, I have Haida anyways, so good luck to the guy who wins her. She is a beast.

@Hapa_Fodder  I thought there was another thread on this already asking the question what happens if you have already completed the mission and got the camo/patch, before the Haida draw 'participate opt-in' post came out?

I believe even @LittleWhiteMouse posted asking the question - was there an answer, apologies I can't find it?

Edit:

I tried a bit harder (and went to Hapa's profile to view the posts he created):

However, the question was still not answered: I completed the Canada Day missions before the participate notice went up; so as LWM asked:

What happens to people who have already completed the missions before this promotion began?  Are they still entered in the drawing?  (I'm not entering -- I already have Haida and I want others to have a chance getting her, but my question remains).

@_WaveRider_ you can complete the mission anytime before 07/03/20 and you will be eligible for the drawing for a random Haida.

Even if you completed the mission over the weekend, like me, you'll be counted.

Make sure you click on "Participate" on the article.

If you already have the Canada Day patch, you'll get credit compensation.

Not sure if you've seen @Gneisenau013's reply. You just have to finish the mission by 7/3/20.

Thanks for asking about this again. I actually created a ticket with CS right after I saw the news article trying to look for an answer:

Unfortunately, it's not specific enough (for me at least). (For anyone interested, it's Ticket # 125110669)

Thanks for answering this! Saves me time having to re-open the ticket.

Thank you for clearing the situation up; much appreciated. :Smile_honoring:
