As always, thank you for an excellent review!

I rarely post in these kinds of threads, but I do read them quite often, and want you to know we all appreciate your effort and hard work in making these.

Thank you for an awesome review, as always, Miss Maus. Well done. :Smile_great:

Well, it was already expected that Aggy was a lesser ship than Sieggy... but Sieggy is so inaccessible... so I'll just stick with my Aggy. :Smile_hiding:

She's still good enough for me... lol. :Smile_Default:

Large cruisers tend to be pretty forgiving as far as cruiser game-play goes.  They borrow a lot from battleships which are some of the easiest ships to play.  For beginners, Siegfried and Agir provide these training wheels along with

For veterans, imagine German battleships that actually hit whatever you aimed at.  Yeah, scary, especially in Siegfried's case.  Stack onto that good survivability, brawling, kiting, DD hunting with their hydro, using islands for ambushes / cover -- yeah, there's a lot of room for skill to affect game play.

In the Overview section the first sentence just cuts off.

Thanks for the review.

I just want to know why Mouse would put her hand in duck puke? :Smile_ohmy:

No really, I think the Kronstadt is a big target that turns like a school bus anymore...at least these two can brawl. It takes a ton of willpower for me to go past Tier 7 as of late...but I like KM stuff, and my Scharn captain wants an upgrade...

Shame they had to lock the Siegfried behind the no-go wall, it sounds like a fun ship right up my alley.

I've been regrinding a few lines to get access to her.  She'll be the first ship I get out of the Research Bureau.  I was inspired by Flambass' experiment on how long it takes to reach tier X if you use top-tier camouflages & signals, so I started keeping track.  Without using free experience, I've played 40 matches through the American light cruiser line.  I've almost unlocked Seattle.

I'm not telling anyone else not to do it, it's their choice.

But as a PVE-main, none of my grinds have ever been that fast, and they never will.

Even being pretty good at that mode of the game and using camos and signals and free premium time strategically... each ship unlocked is a milestone, not highway mile marker.

It's downright criminal (she says for effect) how neglected PVE is.

Cool as always but don't forget that Siegfried is also less expensive than the other two tier ten choices in the Research Bureau and it is also different than those two in playstyle, more unique.

Well some beach. Here I was writing up a review for the Agir and just as I'm ready to post it @LittleWhiteMouse releases hers. Oh well. I will say I found it funny how similar are reviews of Agir are, great work as always LWM, you inspired me to write my own reviews.

The more people we have providing their views on ships, the better.  People can get a more clear image of how the ship performs by getting different perspectives on it.

Also lower tier. Taking tier difference into account 10k RP difference isn't actually that much, especially considerig the difference in FXP cost between T9 and T10 FXP ships is 100%.

I ground out enough in PVE for one ship so far and It happened that I chose the Siegfried due to Miss Mouses grand advice. I find the UK DDs to be the line to grind I have reset it 3 times now. Once I get Lightning I will probably do the Ranked Sprint with it, I should have her by tomorrow. I hate to break from PVE but tier 8 ranked is calling for the Lightning to strike. Wish me luck.

I'm also a PvE-only main, and as @KilljoyCutter has implied, unlocking ships through Coop is a sloooooow process. It's just not feasible and efficient to try RB for people like me, unless they just throw money away like tissue papers... lel. :Smile_hiding:

Imagine if Gneisenmaus (or Tirpitz for that matter), hit with nearly every shell she fired.

That's the RL equivalent of turning off the alarm and shuffling off to the bathroom, only to have your favorite movie star or waifu pausing in front of the mirror to turn around, smile and say, "Good morning Honey!"

Nice work

Great Lert, now I feel cheated. Not really, I have other tier 10 ships that do what the Ohio and Colbert do. I also hope that they add more than just tier 9s and 10s to the Research bureau. I think I made a great decision with the help of our own Miss Mouse, aint she great? I do wish that the price was a little less pricey.

Confirms my fear that Agir is a crap Siegfried because WG is still trying force the [edited] Research Bureau down our throats.

I'll go back to trying to resist Champagne despite knowing in my heart that it's a better, newer Gascogne but both ships put together are still worse than my Massachusetts in any meaningful way and therefore pretty much pointless.

Oh whoa, cruiser dispersion gottagetchampagne

Welp, looks like I'm stuck with the lesser of the two. Given that I in no way intend to ever part with any of my tier 10s even temporarily, so no Siegfried for me. I worked hard for those ships, dammit!
