Nice as always Mouse.

(Harkening back to your recent review of Mikoyan...)

(...you were so, so right about it.)

(Love the heck out of the guns, but a Zara gave me a cross-eyed look, and 3/4 of my health was gone. :Smile-angry: )

I like that this ship has a distinctly different hull, rather than all the clones of existing ships with different guns (if at all) that were flooding T8+ premiums.

With this addition, maybe WG can finally add a new hull to the IJN lineup. The last new work to come out for the IJN line was Azuma, which then got immediately cloned.

Please let me know if any of you are having problems seeing the images.  There are 42 in this review.  All but two of them are hosted on imgur.

Well thank you Miss Mouse.

I am intrigued by the Odin, and about 99.99% sure I will own her.  If she was straight for sale in the armory I would most likely pass, but I will be grinding the dockyard tasks, and feel fairly comfortable that I will get all 18  (out of 20) done.  I will not pass up a T8 premium for 3500 dubs, so she will be in my fleet.

Yay!!!! After a craptastic day I get to read a LWM review.

First thing first, Odin is dead sexy...But I just don't see the point? Yeah my Scharn Captain would be right at home...but I really don't want to deal with Tier Xs in her.

Just my two cents...Thanks for all you do Mouse! :Smile_medal:

Exactly the same for me!

Is Odin optimal?  Hells no.  Is Odin better than Tirpitz?  Situationally yes.  Situationally no.

...

Overall, I think Tirpitz is more consistent, but there's room for Odin in my port.

Nice work and I think a very fair assessment!  :cap_like:

Just wish it had a little more of "something":  Perhaps a few more knots of speed and/or a better heal which could be offset by longer cool down.  This assumes the HP pool stays the same.

Thank you Ms Mouse, its a great review and your graphics keep raising the bar (they are quite visible and intuitive btw). As somebody already said if I can complete the new dockyard (assuming WG learned the lesson and its not another dumpster fire) 3500 dubs is a cheap price for even a mediocre tier 8 BB.

Good review.

2nd analogy attempt = more proof that you can find anything on the internet.

Still not enthused about this ship.

Nice review. Looks like a hard pass from me. I'll stick with my Shinyhorse and Derpitz.

I king of agree but if I can get her for 3500 doubloons or 14 dollars she will be in my port straight away .

I like Odin's base camo. When are the Germans going to get an alternate palette swap?

Never.  Apparently the Germans aren't worthy of it.

But at least the Soviets have 3-4 different options.
