If Submarines are added at tier 6, which class would you prefer they branch out of?

Even if submarines end up in a separate mode they will still very likely be added to the tech tree. Any thoughts or preferences on which class to research them from?

It makes sense to branch them off of the DD line...

But knowing WG, they'll probably branch them off of the CV line (at least for the US and UK lines) to get more people to play and grind CVs.

I think Wargaming is planning to make full/carrier style tech trees, they are just starting testing at teir VI because it's one of the most popular teirs for the playerbase.

Testing started in September but it was closed Beta. Open beta was last month and Live server "testing" begins next Wednesday. The current announced plan is even tier starting at tier 6. That may change but I find it unlikely.
