There is virtually no work and no match making going on here.
I feel sorry for these developers.

Dude, experience was on your side...

That reminds me of Frederick II of Prussia... said something like "We have army mules that have taken action in 40 campaigns, they are still mules"

Huh? You have bad reading abilities.

Also, that is a PR of 9500 vs 17,500

He's talking about total battles. OP's (edit: oh you are the OP) team has nearly double.

I'm reading 8,3k avg battles against 4,5k battles on your favor...  on paper your side had more experience...

That is like counting grocery bags to see how much someone spent on food.

Irrelevent.

And you have bad reading comprehension. He was pointing out that your team had a higher battles played average, and then using an anecdote to express the fact that experience is meaningless when it exceeds fundamental ability.

I read the top 2 lines and even I concluded this is not a MM problem... The problem lays on the OP using a third party program, to come with unrealistic distortions about MM.

If you compare the average winrates over 50 games you will see there there is no significant difference in the long run. One swallow does not a summer make.

Why are you or he using average battles played as XP when XP is there and is called XP. And what WG I believe considers XP to be.

So you are saying that a player with 150 games and a PR of 57 is better to have on your team than a player with 30 games and a PR of 3000? Interesting...

Working as intended, the MM matches ship type and number. What it does not do is use any kind of skill factor.

Experience is useless when it is bad experience. I can be an experienced welder of 22 years but if everything I ever welded failed then am I a good welder because I have experience?

Match maker monitor will only poison the game for you.  It makes you realize that 75% of the player base is really dog poop.  The match maker itself makes no effort or very little effort in balance.

LOLz, You are going to have to I guess. Because you are pulling out an obscure and meaningless stat regarding # of games played and ignoring impacting stats such as PR, Avg Damage, Win Rate in Ship, and Win Rate all to me in decreasing value. But way better or an actual metric compared to your total numbers of games played.

Those two teams could play 100 times in a row and the team on the right would win 90%+ I am guessing.

a player with 150 games that does 18k avg damage with a PR of 57 is virtually never going to outclass a player with 30 games that avgs 90k damage with a PR of 3000.

Number of games just do not matter.

NFL, Hockey, BB teams all play the same number of games and that is a metric that is zero to do with how good a team is.

I just do not even know why pulled out # of games when clearly that has nothing to do with getting wiped. My team somehow failed to capitalize on the total number of games the players have played vs the other team? That is funny!

Agreed. But not so hard to balance. Just inability or care to balance.

Which gets less and less of my money as time goes on. But maybe the newbies with the PRs of 87 are paying good money...

Does he really need to make a video for the denseness to subside?

Wargaming's Matchmaker,

Make me a match,

Find me a team,

that will win me a match

Wargaming's Matchmaker,

Look through your stats,

And make me a perfect match

Wargaming's Matchmaker,

you are evil.

You bring me doom,

er'day I sail.

Do me this thing for I'm longing to be,

The envy of all that I see.

Wargaming:

Give me a dollar!

Your mama!

Wargaming:

Make me rich as a king!

For me, well,

I wouldn't holler

If I were as purple as anything.

Wargaming's Matchmaker,

Make me a match,

Find me a find,

Catch me a catch,

Night after night my games they are blown

So find me a team,

I can own.

Matchmaker knows all. I don't even worry about it. Take my ship into battle into battle and see how it goes.

This guy is not my best friend. I don't know his sense of humor. Should I?
Making an obscure anecdote is my fault somehow?
He actually came out to clear the smoke and clue me in? No.

My apologies for offending you. Thanks for straightening me and my denseness out.
