I'm just wondering why on the NA server we don't use Nautical Miles and Knots instead of Kilometers and Kph or even use Miles and Mph?

The speed is measured in knots in game which is the norm for measuring ship speed (since the 1700’s ... used to lower a rope from the ship with “knots” uniformly spread along the rope).

Kilometres is from the British metric system which funnily enough still isn’t used in Britain for speed but is for pretty much everything else :cap_haloween:

I think we did it mostly to “F” with the European visitors :cap_haloween: Always funny seeing a “Euro plate” car doing 70kph (~44mph) on the motorways (70 mph speed limit)! Lol
