There is a bug where torpedoes and shells that hit islands would keep on their track even though the game marked them as destroyed. They are ghosts and that is what I think happened there.

It’s one of two things most likely. Either a client/server desync (so the ship wasn’t actually in the path of the torps where they intersected on your screen), or the long running InfiniTorp bug BrushWoof mentioned (where the server registers them as destroyed after hitting an island/ship/wreck, but the client fails to complete the destruction/removal animation).

I thought it was possible for torps to pass under a raised stern. Although those seem too far towards the middle of the ship.
