Hello.

I present to you a modification that will change the color of all ships to a more historical one.

At the moment, all disposable event camouflages have been replaced with gray monochromatic color schemes that were used in the navies of the countries of the world during World War II.

Some permanent camouflages have also been changed. Some of them have become monochromatic (most of the Soviet, Japanese ships), since I have not yet found a historical color for them.
Therefore, do not be surprised or think that an error has occurred if your camouflage, which previously had a pattern, turns gray.

A couple of small tips in using the mod. Please disable all specific camouflages. This can be done using the gear in the lower right corner, in the port.
Also, given the separation of the economic and visual essence of camouflage, you can use camouflages for the price of 22,500 credits for premium ships as well - for some ships, I have increased the choice. The list is long - so see for yourself.
I also returned some previously disabled strange (Japanese, Pan-American and others, replenishment is in progress) camouflages as *Dark Olive Green* camouflage.

 

In future updates, I will continue to modify and add historical color schemes for some ships.

This modification was created on the basis of the modification of comrade Sergbob from the Russian forum. In the original, his modification corrects the proportions of the naval flags, and makes the admiral's flags historical. Link to the theme with the original version of the modification:

I simply removed most of the flags, leaving only the admiral's pennants (with the exception of the Yamamoto flag), signal flags, historical naval flags (with the exception of the Japanese Navy flag, which I left the state flag), and flags of alpha and beta testers.

Well, while the test is in progress, I filed a scheme for Grozovoy. Funny, but this scheme is based on a real scheme (of course, another ship, the minesweeper T-407 Mina). This is really interesting, because I thought that it would be difficult to give the Soviet ships schemes. Destroyers will eventually receive each minimum of 1 scheme. So far, the cruisers and battleships of the USSR will receive only historical schemes where they were.

I thought, I think it’s worthwhile to delay the release of the new version and accumulate material in order to complete all the destroyer branches. He began to look closely at the Germans (since there are some blanks, while there are few of them - and something new needs to be done, and not just copied). There is such a book German Naval camouflage. I did some schemes of the Germans on it. But there, as I understand it, there is very little material - I just saw a couple of interesting patterns and variations in the search process) For example, I found a series of photos without dates, but personalized as Richard Beitzen (I'm not an expert, and I can’t determine them myself). This is a little suspicious, since the schemes are extremely diverse.

It turns out that the coloring of the destroyers Kriegsmarine is as complicated as the coloring of the Soviets (I have suffered so much with Grozny), unless of course I follow the beaten path of books and try to find something new that no one has drawn sketches on yet).

Thanks to the comrades PunishedKAsual and Tanz, in the future the modification will be supplemented by the destroyers of Japan. I supplemented their work with a couple of my textures (if you find problems in the spelling of names - please let me know, I copied the names of Umikaze from the photo, and I copied the name of Isokase from his descendant - a destroyer like Kagero). Japanese destroyers have a single color with hieroglyphs and marks on the pipes. One exception is Mitsuki, which has historical camouflage.

Changed also some premium ships in Japan. I also changed the alternative colors of the permanent camouflage of Japanese ships. Now the destroyers in the main color have shades of gray, the alternative color will retain the green camouflage (I will not delete it - let it be a bright spot in my boring fashion :3). Cruisers, battleships and carriers, on the contrary, will have standard green camouflage as their primary color. An alternative color will give them a solid color. I did it to see less often spotted green destroyers (in gray colors they are more beautiful in my opinion). While large ships, game permanent camouflages are more suitable.

I forgot to say that I don’t have many ships - therefore, there are no screenshots, or they are without camouflage. Please check camouflage before entering combat to avoid crashes. If this happens (I hope that does not happen) - let me know. Thank.

Most Japanese destroyers (in the future, and cruisers), European destroyers are made in the form of standard textures - this is convenient, since the emblems will be visible when using all disposable camouflages, but at the same time, these textures are not compressed so well by the archiver and take up a large amount of information (140 mb). I will add them with separate modifications, which will be posted here. They rarely change in updates, but with changes or their additions I will let you know.

Hello! I gradually add color to theSoviet / imperial destroyers. Type 1 will be relatively simple colors - gradient patterns worn by Baltic destroyers at least during World War 1 (I saw photos with 2-3 and even a lot of stripes, which I reflected in the color of the ships), and the pre-war color scheme of Soviet destroyers with letters on board. I still think whether it is worth giving fantasy letters to projects, but I already gave the letter to Kiev - it turned out not bad. We should also pay attention to the project of Podvoisky. It carries one experimental scheme of the period of the 1920s.

When I just started drawing skins and camouflage, I thought it was difficult for the Soviet / imperial fleet to give real schemes. For battleships, cruisers, this is true. Podvoisky. Scheme of one of the Novik type Northern Fleet destroyers - Karl Liebknecht. Photo of 1944.

Groznyy. Destroyer of the same type to Gnevnyy. He was part of the Northern Fleet, as well as the subsequent Baku. The colors are probably not accurate, as there is no reliable information.

Baku. The leader of destroyers of the same type in Minsk. There are several photos in different color schemes (According to one of them, USNA_76 created a skin). I do not know if this is one asymmetric scheme, or two different paint schemes with the same pattern for both sides. I did not find evidence. Therefore, let there be a second option - a symmetrical pattern on 2 sides. There is also unknownness with color - changes are possible.

Kiev. I have often met similar angular schemes. The coloring scheme is historical, but simple. In the future, permutations are possible. For example, you can replace type 5 with permanent camouflage. In Kiev, it is cool and is a gradient scheme from the Black Sea destroyer Soobrazitelnyy. The Company used something similar by the way for Mikoyan.

We will leave the blue cruiser in its famous color. All the same, I'm trying to make a historical collection.

Khabarovsk.
An adapted scheme of the destroyer Skoryy (type 7-U), in which it is captured on the raid of Tallinn in August 1941. He participated in the Tallinn crossing. During the transition, the destroyer was ordered to tow the destroyer leader Minsk, damaged by a mine explosion, but when he tried to approach it he ran into a mine, broke into two parts and 4 minutes later plunged into the sea. Killed 57 sailors and an unknown number of aircraft technicians of the Baltic Fleet Air Force. So let it be at least in our game, in a similar form it will reach Kronstadt. A kind of reincarnation.

 

Ognevoy. Project 30 bis destroyer coloring - Otryvistyy. Surprisingly, this is a post-war camouflage.

Udaloy. Adapted Northern Fleet Razyarennyy destroyer scheme.

Imperial destroyers carry several color options that I saw in some photos. I could make all the destroyers of World War I black, with a large tactical number, which is also beautiful, but I diversified their appearance. Perhaps they do not have such color samples among their sisterships, but at the same time give some understanding of the color options, and bring some variety.

T-22 has the color of the destroyer T-24 made on the basis of the work of comrade Edelweiss. I could not find him and contact him, but I hope he will not mind when he appears. Thanks to him!

Now the Americans. The company uses on most ships one color scheme. Something like 5-L, 5-N and BK, which is not entirely true for some ships. Example. Original / Mod.  Birmingham's coloration used the colors 5-P, 5-H, 5-N. It looks like this for me ..

Given the diversity of schemes used by the US Navy during the war years, I would like to change the color codes of permanent camouflage, as well as camouflage type 1,2,5 that I will add over time. This will give us a more historical coloring scheme, but at the same time we will lose the blue deck when using most schemes with various bonuses. It’s sad. But otherwise nothing.

I added Fletcher with a tactical number - now (probably) everything is fine. I also forgot to mention the change in Helena's commemorative camouflage - it has been replaced by the historical measure MS21.
Future plans. I want to continue using permanent camouflage for other purposes (I have already started using them as economic camouflage for US destroyers). I can use permanent camouflage textures as type 5 camouflage. This way I will give each ship level 6-10 camouflage. Hello everyone. Modification for patch 0.9.11 has been updated.
Every Tier 6-10 ship (except for ships of the USSR and Japan) received at least one unique camouflage - some ships received more camouflages. In the future, the number of unique camouflages for silver will increase. In some cases, I used the Company's permanent camouflage. I also want to thank the modders for allowing them to use their work. Thank you!
Below are screenshots of the new camouflages - here are only a part, I will probably forget to demonstrate something.

USA.

I made historical camouflages for the "Wolf" and "Mustang" camouflages of cruiser Flint - I used the Juneau skins of Jim_Kong_il.

Changed the color of the "Crocodile" and "Marlin" of the destroyer Black to the historical scheme, using the work of DD__Yukikaze.

Cleveland:
He was wearing the wrong permanent camouflage, so I used the correct Montpelier paint job from the Company.
Type 2 is represented by the work of the modder who helped me with Flint - Jim_Kong_il - I used his MS33 / 6D paint job for Denver.
Type 5 is represented by my work - the MS33 / 6D circuit for Birmingham.                                                                      
The economic camouflage is represented by the post-war scheme of Manchester modder EH45 - He also helped me with Des Moines, who will also carry the post-war scheme with a tactical number. By the way - Des Moines, Worcester, Salem, Roosevelt, Midway will not have camouflage as such. They will be in post-war form, which is historical, right? For them, I used the tactical texture.

Baltimore:
Baltimore Permanent Camouflage: The MS32 / 16D Boston (or Baltimore - different color schemes) scheme from the Company was a little inaccurate. I used a variant of the same circuit from Tanz. Permanent camouflage is used in the same way as type 2 camouflage.                                                                                                                                          
Type 5 is represented by the Pittsburgh schematic MS33 / 18D by USNA_76.                                                                     
The economic camouflage is again represented by the post-war color of Baltimore, but this time by my authorship. All the same, tactical numbers are elegant).

North Carolina: This ship has two hulls.
For building A:
Type 2 - 1941 three-color scheme. Someone calls it a modified Measure2, some as Measure12. But it looks cute, especially if I make the upper part of the superstructure lighter in the future.
Type 5 - Measure12 of the Company.                                                                                                                             
For building B:
Type 2 - Measure22 based on textures with CBT.                                                                                                                   
Type 5 is again a Company scheme. The use of good Company schemes reduces the time to prepare the modification.

The permanent camouflage of the Company made me a little alarmed by the absence of a part of the pattern on the left side, so using the Tanz textures I created the camouflage used both as permanent and as type 5.
Type 2 is represented by the admiralty scheme from the author KylerAdams. He disappeared from the forums, but I think he would not mind using his schemes. He made many schemes and in the future I will use them. Moreover, the Admiralty scheme was very widespread in reality. I even have it on many French).                                                   

You've probably already seen my Mediterranean Ajax coloring? I used it as a replacement for Leander's New Year camouflage. I really like her)
I gave Devonshire a unique Type 2 camouflage coloration in the form of its 1941 scheme.                                
By the way. Following the advice of the Trainspite user, I changed the color of all the British "Victorian" camouflages to the two-ton scheme used by the ships of the China Station. Perhaps in the future it is worth diluting this total grayness, for example, by painting ships with yellow pipes.
